Honestly huge fan of Korean BBQ, but this was a terrible, costly experience. The all you can eat menu is split into two sections, one has about 6 items, the other about 10 items. 25$ and 35$ for each different option. We didn't want to miss out on the whole menu, so we paid the extra. (never had to pay this much @ any other Korean BBQ)
Our server, Brandon, was very unattentive & rude. I asked him about the two buffet options, and his response was snarky and was that of a 16 year old boy who didn't want to be there. We had to ask for water refills and wave him down from across the restaurant. It was not busy, at all. When my girlfriend finally got him to the table to ask for a water refill, he comes back with one water when mine was visibly empty and sat on the side of the table.
We ordered the bul go ki chicken, the ribeye, the beef brisket, and the gal bi chicken.
The bul go ki was awful, not even tasting like chicken and with an overkill of seasoning and a very strange texture.
The ribeye was a 1/8th inch untrimmed fatty slice of meat, unseasoned.
The beef brisket was as thin as possible with no seasoning or anything, and after cooking it and eating it over the small portion of rice they gave us, it was a medicore version of Chinese takeout without stir fry sauce or fried rice.
And lastly was the Gal Bi Chicken which comes cooked. It was the best tasting item, but our server once again failed by not giving us proper eating utensils. Each piece was quite large for chopsticks and had a bone in each piece. It was ridiculous trying to eat such a large item with chop sticks, practically eating over your plate like a dog. We should've been given knives, at least.
At the end of our meal that didn't last very long at all, our server Brandon set down our tab, and I could see one of the other servers asking him what we didn't like and he threw his arms up and walked away never to come back for our table.
I walked up the the front with my tab to encounter a non English speaking woman who I tried to convey to the disappointment in my 30 minute drive for Korean BBQ on my vacation, and that I would like to have our 75$ order discounted since we were clearly not enjoying ourselves and the food was no where near up to par. She either pretended not to understand me or couldn't do anything, so I paid and here's my 75$ review. Don't waste your money, just go to a chinese buffet for the gal bi chicken, it's the same thing as "chicken on a stick." And if you feel tempted to pay extra for the ribeye, don't. It's a joke.
Sad to say this may be my last attempt at finding Korean...

I am writing to share my delightful Korean BBQ dining experience at SaRiOne B.B.Q in Tampa, Florida. As an avid food enthusiast, I was thoroughly impressed with the exceptional taste and ambiance that this establishment had to offer.
My overall satisfaction rating for the dining experience is an outstanding 5 out of 5 stars.
Food and Beverage: âď¸5/5 During my visit, I had the opportunity to indulge in their Spicy Pork Belly (Samgyeopsal-gui), a popular dish that is brilliantly marinated with Korean red paste and other delectable sauces. The result of this outstanding combination offers a juicy sensation with explosive flavors that kept me grilling and enjoying more. I also sampled their Potato Korean Pancake, which provided a soft, tender center and a deliciously crunchy exterior â truly exemplary of the signature Korean pancake dishes.
To accompany my meal, I relished the Makgeolli Peach drink. This delightful, smooth beverage offered a perfect balance of tanginess and sweetness, beautifully complemented by the peach aroma.
Service: âď¸5/5 Upon my arrival, a gracious host greeted me and courteously informed me about the staffing situation, which could result in slightly delayed service. Despite this, I found the service to be exceptionally attentive and efficient. The server ensured that my companions and I had a truly memorable dining experience. My sincerest gratitude goes to the staff for their remarkable service.
Atmosphere: âď¸5/5 SaRiOne B.B.Q boasts an innovative built-in smoke vacuum system for each table, which effectively eliminates the lingering smell of smoke for customers. The bustling atmosphere of the restaurant was filled with lively groups of families and friends, all enjoying their sumptuous BBQ offerings and beverages.
I wholeheartedly recommend SaRiOne B.B.Q in Tampa for anyone seeking a superb Korean BBQ experience, with impeccable food quality, top-notch service, and a...
Read moreI was curious about this place because I saw they are opening a location in Brandon. Decided to try it probably against my better judgment.
We did the All-You-Can-Eat A which has bulgogi (pork, chicken, and beef) and pork belly (samgyeopsal) among some other things. The pork belly was really fatty and juicy, but didn't taste like a great cut really either way.
The grill got really greasy and gross and we didn't realize there was a call button behind us on the wall so I guess that's kind of our fault, but it did impact our experience.
An older lady noticed our grill was gross and came over to clean it at the end of our meal, but we were done by then.
Our server was a little scatter-brained, but he did seem pretty nice to be honest.
The thing dragging down this review is the price. $24.95 is expensive compared to competitors in Orlando and Gainesville and pretty much anywhere else really and the quality just was not there to compare nor was the selection. They used to charge more I heard, but brought the price down after people complained.
I don't know why places in Tampa are always more expensive than quality places in bigger cities, but my patience is starting to run out with that.
Izziban gives you appetizers, sushi, and lots of Korean bbq options for $20. It's definitely a better deal and the service there is top quality compared to this place.
The ban chan was very basic as well. I normally love fish cakes and kimchi, but their kimchi was very sour not spicy and the fish cakes were bland.
I've lived in Korea so when I see mediocre ban chan dishes in a restaurant it's always extra disappointing.
Overall, I'm glad I went so I get good a feel for the restaurant. I'm going to stick to going to other...
