Mr Empanada - Town & Country — Restaurant in Florida

I went in today and ordered an Empanada and fries, first no one was in sight. Guy came out of back room and took my order. He pulled fries out and put hand in and pulled out a hand full and threw them in the fryer, from about 2 feet away. Needless to say some went on the floor. He then to the empanada out of another freezer and threw it from about 3 feet away. At this point I said "I am sorry but I am not going to eat that as you did not wash your hands", he said "I didn't touch money!" I said I have no idea what you were doing in the back room and he had rang my order on the register which is pretty much like touching money. Food was great!!! Service, not so much. I pirchased an empanada meal for my son and a cuban sandwich for myself. I asked for a cup of ice for tap water and was told no. Was told I had to buy bottled water because people steal soda with the cups of ice. So I purchases the bottled water which wasn't very cold. Since I now purchased the bottled water as I was told to, I asked for the cup of ice for the water. I was then told I'd have to pay for the cup if I wanted ice. I've never seen a store refuse ice to someone who purchases 2 meals and a bottled water from them. I clearly was not trying to steal the soda. I...

OK well I was just in there today - I usually shop at the one on Kennedy, but this Hillsborough location is on my way home so I thought I'd try it. Placed an order online for pickup. I was nervous, but YAY their empanadas are just as delicious as at Kennedy!! They seem pretty popular judging by the people eating there, but there was no wait at all for me to pick up my food. Staff was friendly and everything was very clean and seems new. I got four different kinds and they were all excellent.
