Two Hands Corn dogs — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

Totally deceiving and poor customer service. First time going to this restaurant and we stood there for almost 5 minutes at the counter before anyone came out the kitchen area. The employee poorly explained what was on the menu to us.

We were under the impression that this place was a "corn dog" shop but it's really an overpriced "BATTER DIPPING SERVICE!" It was not explained that the "1st" choice was the type of batter that will be used for your choice order. The "2nd" choice was a "FILLING" that we thought was going to be put inside the corn gog itself. WRONG! The filling is actually what is to be in the batter of your first choice step. But again, this was not explained to us in detail. So guess what we found out when we got home after receiving our order???

We took our order out the bag: 3 American Corn dogs (2 with cheese filling and 1 with a chicken sausage filling), with Dirty Fries and Regular fries, and 2 slushies - THE CHEESE FILLED CORN DOGS DID NOT HAVE ANY MEAT INSIDE THEM AT ALL!

We were furious and felt robbed and betrayed. We paid a lot of money just to receive corn dogs with no meat in them. What did we do to deserve this type of service? Nothing at all. We tried to call the restaurant but a voicemail stated that they don't take telephone orders. The employees never picked up the phone.

We refused to drive all the way back to the restaurant to file a complaint due to traffic and a waste of gas. We also further deduced that the employee that served us did not fully explain the order process and simply just took our order without caring if we understood or not. We asked several times about how the menu items were prepared. At no time was it explained that a customer picks the batter and then the filling. It was also not explained that if a "non-meat" choice was ordered then that the CORN DOG WOULD NOT HAVE ANY MEAT INSIDE.

So we literally paid a ton of money for literally nothing. Disappointing to say the least and we're never going back to that restaurant again. BUYER BEWARE - ASK IF THERE WILL BE MEAT IN YOUR CORN DOG BEFORE YOU PAY FOR YOUR ORDER.

Excellent Korean corn dogs! Try something different! The breading is not like American corn dogs. It's still got the crisp outside, but it's also got a nice chewiness and it's not cornbread. I love all the crazy toppings and the textures that go along with them.

There were around 5 people already waiting for their orders when I put my order in, but I only waited around 15 min.

I got the signature combo that included three different dogs: Two Hands (signature seasoning and sweet ranch sauce), Spicy (spicy sauce and hot Cheetos dust), and classic (sugar, ketchup and mustard). I customized my fillings with spicy beef dog, whole mozzarella, and all beef dog respectively.

The spicy one was good with the cheese, but is not that spicy. Next time I will get that one with the spicy beef dog inside. I love the sweet and savory combo of the two hands dog and classic dog. The spicy beef dog is so good. You can really see and taste the peppers inside. I would choose to put that...

This place is pretty neat if you don't want an American corn dog!

Everything is pretty tasty. The classic corn dog (Seoul classic, not American classic) with regular sugar is my favorite, along with the dirty fries. All the slushies are good. The potato dog is awesome if you're in the mood for a bit of spice.

My only complaint is that they missed items in our order. We ordered online for pickup, and they were missing a few major items, plus sauces. We had to go back after getting home and noticing this, and then they forgot the sauces again the second time. Since they charge for the sauce, that was kind of a bummer. We should have checked the order, of course, but it was still kinda disappointing.

Food's good though! Seems a little pricey for corn dogs, but they're pretty sizeable. I wish the sausages inside were a little bigger though, as the batter layer is...
