Burger King — Restaurant in Converse

Extremely disappointed with the service I received today. We visited this location and ordered a #2 (large) and two of the spicy royal crispy chicken meals (medium), one with a coke and one with a lemonade. We were told they didn't have lemonade; no problem, I asked for water instead. We pay and get to the window to receive our food and we're told that EVERYTHING is in the bag. My husband had to remind them that we hadn't received our drinks while I checked the bag, and I'm glad I did! We were missing the #2 sandwich and they gave us a medium fry for my husband's meal instead of the large. Not only that, but they gave me a small water cup instead of giving me a medium water. When we let the cashier know we were missing food, she just asked for the receipt, and offered no apologies. She returned with the meal. We said thank you, and she didn't say anything back and closed the window. Again, no apology for the inconvenience, or the royal screw up. Imagine how much more ticked off we would've been if we got home and were missing an entire meal. We never received straws and our royal chicken sandwiches were missing the tomatoes. I have been to this location four times since they opened and every time there is something wrong. However, last Saturday about 7pm, I witnessed who I presumed to be the manager instruct an employee to place two wet floor warning cones at the front entrance to discourage people from coming in, which several people either didn't come in or left before getting in the door. The people who were already in the building were having a hard time getting someone to take their order. The workers all saw us, they just refused to acknowledge anyone; it seemed the drive-thru was taking precedence over the dining room. I had gotten my order but they didn't give me my fries. So, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I proceeded to wait another 15 minutes which after, I was able to get someone's attention and they gave me the fries, but still, people were not able to order. This location has to be one of the saddest excuses for a Burger King or any fast-food establishment that I have ever seen. I ordered the Texas Whopper meal. Evidently, they "only" have the medium or large meal, which they ask you and, not telling me beforehand, I ordered the regular meal for 10.99

Total came out to 13.02, which I inquired how is it so much taxes involved to get it to 13.02; that's when I was informed about the "medium or.large" option. This is the first time I encountered or was told that at any of the Burger Kings. Lesson learned.

Now, let's get to the meal. Texas Double Whopper was definitely filling. It was hot, cheese melted, and stacked with vegetables and bacon and jalapeños. Fries seemed to be a bit undercooked with some having that "raw" texture when eating. There was an assortment of drinks to choose from the machine, but quite a few weren't available.
