If I could give 0 stars I would! Our waitress was super amazing and the food was ok at best, but unfortunately the manager that has been there for 15 years according to her was not so pleasant. My husband paid our waitress $60 to pay for our meals ( 3 $20 bills to cover the meals because we didn’t know how much our total was until it was put into the computer and then we would have change for our waitresses tip) when our waitress came back with our change ($10) she noticed the change we got back wasn’t right as she knew that she gave the manager $60 not $40 and then noticed on the receipt that the manager put in the computer that we had only given $40 instead of the $60 we actually gave to our waitress. We were then told by our waitress that they were refusing to count the till until closing so we could comeback tonight to retrieve our $20 that they owed to us. When I explained to the manager that we did not pay for our meal tonight and expect them to do a till count so we could get the change we were owed back to tip the waitress and leave she informed us that the waitress supposedly only gave her $40 not $60 and that “it was not her problem as she has been in her job position for 15 years and she knows what she is doing.” My husband then told her that she needed to check the bills as he had just gotten those bills from the bank, they were all in sequential order since they were from a new stack of $20’s and they were folded down the middle since he put them straight in his wallet when he got them from the bank. The manager insisted she only received $40 from our waitress yet when she opened the cash register there was all 3 $20’s right on top! All this arguing for 30 minutes when all of this could have easily been resolved or avoided with a simple count of the till instead of having a manager claim how wrong we were and how she knew what she was supposedly doing! It was just an inconvenience for this manager who has had this job title for 15 years to do her job and count down a till and not even so much as an “I’m sorry” knowing she was wrong in this situation… I will never spend another dime at this place due to the poor management and lack of empathy when the manager knows she was in the wrong! Called my pick up my order of 4 tacos order at 11:33am told it will be 20min for ( 1 pork chop taco, chicharron taco, bean and cheese w/ bacon taco and a sausage and egg taco ) I understand as the place looked packed. I go in and pay at 11:40am and wait till 11:53am and still no order so I ask one of the ladies at the register how much longer. She goes to the back for a while and then pulls me aside from the register to tell me because I order the pork chop it’s going to take a little longer. As I couldn’t keep waiting I told her I wanted my money back and she said okay. I go back to the register but the lady didn’t come she went back to the back. It’s now 12:00pm So I tell the other older lady at the front I want a refund I’ve waited 30min for 4 tacos. Before she can respond the lady who was helping me comes from the back and throws the tacos on the counter not even acknowledging me and continues to help people at the pick up window. Then the older lady tells me because of the weekends I needed to wait 20-25 minutes making it seem like my fault. I snapped back and told her I did wait my time and walked out of their restaurant. Like they couldn’t even apologize about the longer then normal wait time. They seemed so annoyed that I had asked one time about my order then when I ask politely for a refund because I can’t wait any longer they treat a customer like that?!?! Please mind you as I sat waiting for my order they called at least 12 other people for pick up and checked out 6 other as I sat waiting. Plus the drive through was moving so I have no idea what took them so long but I’ll never go back. The tacos weren’t even good! This was our 2nd time at this restaurant. 1st time we couldn't stop raving about it. The 2nd time not so much. I ordered chicken fajita quesadilla, chicken tasted old. Half the time I was picking the chicken. Usually I would have sent plate back but it was after 8pm I had been up since 530am at the point I just needed to eat. My youngest daughter ordered 3 tamales, they tasted like they were store bought, too much cumin and too much chili powder. They were so small I thought they were samples. Then we were charged for to go cups for our limonadas and horachata which might I add those yiu do want to take them to go because thats why you are payung the better price for those drinks vs the fountain drinks. To go container for my oldest daughters meal which was a barbacova plate. I ate 2 out of 4 quesadillas because at that point I was so done with the plate and my youngest daughter ended up eating just a Tortilla because it was 1. Tasted better than her tamales and 2. Bigger than her tamales. She is 8 yrs old and no longer eats from kids menus. My husband had the cheese and carne guisda, he stated the carne guisada was great but the corn tortillas to the cheese enchiladas tasted microwaved and the cheese was in single blob, he didnt eat that. My son had the beef fajitas nachos and he stated that it was good. Service was good although our server gave ice to the one who didn't want it and forgot ice to the one who wanted. She continually checked on us, which was great. Altogether we won't be going back this year. Both times we went after 730pm just not the best this time around.
