When in for my first time with my kids , having a good day and started off with a nice waitress. After the waitress offered me to pick from 3 meats I decided to go with birria . Another lady brought me my food and I told her her they got my order wrong that I picked another meat and she says there’s only two. So I told her my waitress offered me birria as a side meat, she just said ok and ignored me. My waitress passed by and I told her the mistake and she kindly said I’ll bring it to you no problem my apologies. Whoever she went and told in the back . Sent her back to me to remove the meat from my plate. Only the meat. At that moment I knew something was off. No restaurant removes an item off your plate and takes it back to replace it. But she brought back some birria ad we finished eating. I get up to pay at the restaurant and as she’s going to check me out . That other lady comes and snatches the pay pad from her and yells her she will take care of it and proceeds to just add the amount and tells me there you go! Mine you . I haven’t gave her any attitude all this time. So I tell her can I see what you’re charging me for . She shows me and I asked her why is she charging me for the meat they took back? she stated that it was cut so she has to charge me ! And that birria wasn’t a choice. So I told her I was offered it and my waitress brought it to me and no one said I would be charged for it . I stood there confronting her about how she tried to be sneaky and charge me without letting me know . So she walked off saying she won’t argue. She removed it and honestly if she wouldn’t had removed it, I would’ve walked out without paying them at all. This lady wasn’t even my original waitress. Idk if she’s the owner but she was working the drive thru as well. Make sure you keep an eye out on what she’s charging you specially with that type of behavior ! I feel bad for my waitress who was very nice to me yet you can tell that lady is so ugly to her. I would advice her to go work at another restaurant where they will appreciate her! 100% Unprofessional go spend your money at another restaurant where it’s worth walking into on a nice morning . Don’t ruin it by going...
Read moreI searched for the best breakfast tacos near me on google. This place was tied for 1st place at 4.5 stars with another place a little further away. Thank you google for helping me find this place.
I could tell it was an authentic Mexican food place when i went to the back parking area, because the front area was full... and there were muddy holes everywhere...lol. But still enough gravel to drive back there safely, and not get your tires muddy.
The inside of this place is so clean, and very well decorated...must have been somebodys grandma cleanin that place. There is happy music, and two young nice Hispanic women happily humming to the music, and working quickly. I ordered the special....2 tacos of the same kind for $1.99, and $1.50 coffee.
The food i ordered, chorizo an egg tacos tasted like heaven...i tried to eat them slow as possible. The chorizo had a mouth watering flavor. Both the red and green hot sauces tasted great and were picoso (hot). The flour tortillas were freshly homemade and toasted on the grill just right. The coffee was hot and tasted like it was freshly ground...with plenty of refills to warm you up.
Sidenote: as i was eating, an older American couple about my age (49) came in...looked at the pans of food in the small window area in the front. They looked at each other...then turned around and left. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THIS UNFORTUNATE COUPLE MADE!!!!
I imagine they were intimidated by the very authentic Mexican atmosphere...the music, the delicious smells, Spanish voices, and the humbleness of the place. And maybe they thought whatever was in the pans was all they had...idk.
I assure you these women can communicate well enough in English, and they have more food than whats in the little pan section. Sit down at one of their many tables...ask for your drink and the very easy to understand MENU....you will not regret it!
One of the finest Taquerias for the price in all of...
Read moreMy daughter found this place. I think it will be my favorite new spot. We spent $24.14 and it was worth it! Our order was 1 chicken fajita huarache, 1 potato ranchero taco, 1 mijas taco and 1 chorizo and bean taco a Mexican coke and a sweet tea. My family said the tacos were good. I was too busy enjoying my chicken fajita huarache to try anything else. Let me say the flavors are layered and piled high. (None of this, cutting back on your toppings but raising the price on you happening here) I didn’t even get half way through and I am stuffed like it was thanksgiving day! I am looking forward to going back and trying a different menu item like a torta or something of their large variety sweet snack menu like a mangonada. My sweet tea? Well you can come here for the tea alone! I could tell at first sip that they must have a reverse osmosis system! I took off the lid and saw the beautiful clear ice swimming in my tea and I feel in love. The ice is perfect crunch size too! She also asked if we would like them open the Mexican soda before handing it to us. I appreciate that because most places just open it with out asking. The service is friendly and fast. I could tell that our food was cooked to order but, it didn’t take too long. Just pull up to the speaker and turn off your engine so you don’t have a hard time ordering. This place just got a new...
