Let me start by saying we used to love eating at Cold Stone when we lived in Iowa and Wyoming. But after today, we will likely never spend a single dollar there again. The owner of this franchise location is extremely rude and unprofessional. And honestly, I am disappointed that corporate didn't try and help in the matter...... We came here for my birthday after receiving a $30 digital gift card (bought from Sam's Club) and having a $5 off and 30% coupon. (We would not have ate hear without it due to the insanely high prices.) After getting our ice cream, the two gals who helped us both tried ringing us up in different ways to get our coupons applied and to use our gift card. Their system showed that we have the $30 on the digital card but it would not apply. The girls said the owner would not allow any employees any kind of codes to override or make corrections.... they had to reset their system 3 different times. They finally called the owner and he told them it "isn't his problem that their system wouldn't accept it" and that we would have to pay and contact Cold Stone or just try again another time. This was beyond unacceptable. Had my kids not been halfway through their ice cream by this point, I honestly would have walked out after the way he handled the phone call. So not only did we have to pay for this out of pocket since they didn't figure out why their system wouldn't accept the gift card, but we were very disappointed in the ice cream. The flavors have gone downhill in the last couple of years and the prices skyrocketed. Immediately afterwards I contacted corporate. Instead of getting a response from them, they forwarded my email to the owner and he responded with a rude, roundabout "not my problem" email. As a business owner myself, this is unacceptable and not how I would ever handle a bad experience for one of my customers. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. We will likely not eat at a Cold Stone again after this experience. And definitely not this one. Thankfully, Conway has WAY better options for ice cream!! (Save time, lots of money, and patience and go to "Las Delicias" or even "Marble Slab Creamery" for better ice cream and a better...
Read moreI’ve eaten at Cold Stone Creamery in Branson numerous times and loved it. I thought I’d try this one in Conway. There were no other people when I went in. The girl who mixed my ice cream did not do a good job. She barely chopped the fruit and and barely mixed it in. When I got my cup a basically had to get a scope of ice cream from one part and get some of the fruit from another par of the cup. I was able to mix it when it softened up some, but the fruit was still unchopped/smashed. I was disappointed in what seemed like a lack of caring how my ice cream turned out. She seemed as if she didn’t have time to worry with it. A girl came in talking to her during this time as well, which may be why she did a poor job. It won’t stop me from giving it another try, though. Every place deserves a second chance and the taste of the ice cream itself was delicious once I...
Read moreWe stopped here for some ice cream after finding the place on Google. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was that EVERY SINGLE TABLE was covered in a sticky mess I'm assuming was ice cream. There were only two tables occupied and while we were there I noticed at least 3 employees. The employees were friendly but for 1 junior cone and two single scoop cups $16 is ridiculous. If it had been good ice cream it would have been understandable but this stuff tasted like it came from Walmart, literally. I will never go to this chain again. If you like paying outrageous prices for subpar ice cream while eating it at a nasty table then this is your place. Good luck is all I can say for their...
