Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Conway

Edit: Making this a 5 star because to my surprise changes have been made and the staff has been consistently ensuring the drink is made right 💯

This review is specifically regarding the Golden Eagle with an extra shot of espresso and light milk.

As a loyal customer who enjoys this drink regularly, I’ve noticed a troubling inconsistency in its preparation. Over the past week alone, I’ve ordered the same drink at least five times from the Lake Nona location, and unfortunately it's disappointing. Despite requesting it with an extra shot and light milk so I can actually taste the espresso, more often than not, the drink has been overly milky, to the point where it resembles a cup of milk with caramel drizzle rather than a properly balanced espresso beverage. Today, my small golden eagle with 3 shots of espresso light milk and extra ice looked almost identical to the iced vanilla chai that I also ordered which is literally a white drink.

What makes this more frustrating is that other Dutch Bros locations are able to make this drink without issue and I’ve rarely if ever had to request a remake. This shows me that the recipe and customization are understood across your company; however, there seems to be a lack of consistency or attention to detail at this particular store.

I’ve remained patient and polite throughout, but at this point, I believe the issue deserves to be formally addressed. I truly enjoy Dutch Bros and would love to continue being a regular customer, but consistency is key.

This place can be very frustrating because when they make your order right which is about 50% of the time they’re really really good. Like I Said 50% of the time…. 🙄..What’s more frustrating is their mobile order which states “order ahead skip the line” when they should really call it “back of the line” because in fact they don’t start your order until you get there. Even though the app gives you an ETA of when your order will be ready. For example their App said the drink should be ready by 9:37, and I get there and a person in the walk in line places a 4 drink order and gets her 4 drinks at 9:50! I’m still waiting for my 1 drink that wasn’t ready til 9:54! The manager said they didn’t start making my drink til after they finished the walk-ups order. Which I ended being late to work as a result 😒…. OH and my drink.. it...

Not a good place to go if you have things to do in the morning. I had to get to work and I placed a mobile order thinking that would make things faster but no one came to the mobile order parking spots and then I went through drive thru not realizing how long it would take and the worker told me I had to go up to the window to get my drink and since I didn’t I now have to wait through the drive thru line that was at least 6 cars in front & behind me. I thought she would bring me the drink in the line and I could go straight out since I chose the far right line that had an exit lane.
