We normally go to the Wendy's on Willow, but thought we'd give this one a try..nope! Back to Willow we will go..we ordered 3 of the 4 for $4 (for our kiddos) 1 was a double stacker and 2 of regular cheeseburgers, 2 frosties and 1 cookie. The total was a little more than $17..finally get up to the window and pay..the girl hands us a drink and a bag..assuming it was the 1st meal..then she says "have a good day". We inform them that wasn't all of our order..in fact-IT WASNT OUR ORDER AT ALL..it was a cold cheeseburgers meal with sprite..we ordered a dr pepper and 2 chocolate milks. One girl was standing around, the girl that took our order acted confused and the manager never even acknowledged us..the girl standing around finally told us that they accidentally gave our order to the previous car and they had to delete our order..HOW IS THAT OUR FAULT? They tried to charge me for the mix up meal AND our order that they were supposed to be correcting. They all had attitudes toward us-as if WE were a bother to them..AND THEY STILL HAD THE ORDERS WRONG!!! My kids don't like bacon..ALL 3 MEALS WERE cold, hard SINGLE BURGERS WITH BACON...NOT GOING BACK TO...
Read moresometimes it's hard to get your order correct but the one on Willow does a much better job than the one on Jefferson.I went through the drive-thru on Jefferson, placed my order and drove around to pay. they read the order off it was correct.I paid.when I got my food the order was not I tried to explain it to the guy who absolutely was refusing to listen. after about 45 minutes of trying to get my order correct he took a whole thing away from me unwrapped each Burger and still insisted they were correct. long story made short..he finally agreed to fix the hamburgers the way I had ordered them and one of my credit card back to charge me even though the person at the window had the correct order and charged me for that order the guy at the window because he had to re-fix some of it charge me more. this kind of service was never acceptable in any shape form or fashion when I was younger. it was all about customer service not seeing how much you could argue about with...
Read moreMy receipt informs me I had the displeasure of interacting with, Betty today, as she rudely demanded I tell her my order, I pleasantly greeted her and gave her my order. Her rudeness didn't improve, yet I didn't allow it to ruin my mood, because I knew Wendy's motto of fresh food is going to tantalize my taste buds. As I was not very kindly handed my food, I smiled and wished her a good day.
I sincerely hope your day does improve Betty because that level of unhappiness is deep.
I left and started to consume what had to be the dryest burger patties I've ever had at any Wendy's, the coldest nuggs, and the only saving grace was the luke warm fries wasn't oversalted. As I washed my disappointment away the only thing I could think of was, maybe I really should've tried the McDonald's right next to it. I wonder which restaurant paid to have to attach the rear parking lots...
