If my husband had known, he never would've chosen this room for me. I would say if you're thinking about this accommodation, don't do it. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt, and put under new ownership and new management. Where to start? Let's see...no coffee preparation in the room but Dunkin is close by, oh and the consolation prize of having coffee in the lobby 24/7 if that helps; the shower squirts every where, but even better about that is that the shower curtain won't stay closed, so get extra towels for the floor; the beds are so painful, but the pillows aren't the worst (I did have to switch beds on my 2nd night there, and took the pillow from the other bed with me.) Normally, I take my own pillow, but I actually forgot this time, so I was actually relieved that I didn't have to sleep on a rock, at the Raye things were going here. The upside is that the motel is located close enough to all the hotels you wish you could be staying at. My "neighbors" were so noisy I wanted to scream! Banging on doors, slamming doors, yelling...oh my! I am pretty positive a lot of drug deals go down here too. Did I mention I'm a criminal investigator? There's that. The window curtains had exactly 5 hooks holding them on the rod. To be clear, that's less than 50%. No matter how I tried to keep the light out, I was not successful. My husband also didn't realize that the room was a smoking room (I'm a former smoker), and there weren't and non-smoking rooms that I could change to at that moment, so I stayed in the room that was booked. As a kind gesture, they gave me a can of deodorizer, and told me I didn't have to worry about bringing it back to the front desk. Well, it was most likely empty (I never sprayed it lol because it was so light I guessed it was empty). I didn't bother taking it back to the front desk though, and I did appreciatethe gesture. Also, it is incredibly difficult to brush one's teeth in a sink that does not drain. Oh my goodness, it was so disgusting! Finally, there's so many repair needs in this room, I actually shook my head in marvel. I was stunned, and not in a good way. I've actually never had a good stay at a Red Roof Inn, and I won't be...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE 0If I could give this hotel ZERO (0) STARS, then I would! The room phone did not work, the WiFi was very slow, I had to turn it off and use my mobile data. Within the first couple of hours there, we seen multiple bed bugs, cockroaches, flies, and spiders. The beds, floors and walls had bed bug droppings, blood spots and various other stains on them. The room was non-refundable, so we went and bought some bed bug spray and other cleaning supplies to at least maintain the bugs. After moving around the furniture and taking the blankets and sheets off the beds we seen a lot more bugs. The hotel is SERIOUSLY INFESTED W/ BED BUGS. The bed bugs were scurrying around, big ones, small ones and some cockroaches. I'm sure there are more cockroaches in there!! We had to buy more sprays and construction bags and put everything from the motel in them. Right after we left the motel, I looked down and found a bed bug on my freaking sandal!! So, now we have to go wash and dry everything, and spray and clean out vehicle out. When you mention it to management, they act like you're lying or they say they will have someone come look at it and never do! Plus the pool that is advertised online is there but it's NOT open, it's broken, and will be closed until MAYBE next year. There are no vending machines there and no laundry machines. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO...
Read moreWhen I stayed (last year) the rooms were ok, They needed to be aired out or repainted because of the musty smell from the a/c running 24/7. The staff were great, above and beyond, even housekeeping was spot on to help, though shortage of towels, I was eating breakfast and heard the manager tell the guy at the front that she was not there and whoever was calling needed to call back later, even though the guy told her that person had been calling for days very upset, then someone complained about the staff and was given a free night, after they left staff said the complaint was not valid, which I knew it was not, the guest was drunk and belligerent the night before, even threatened the staff for trying to enforce the rules (guy was jumping the fence to the pool even though it was closed).but manager said, "Lil darling, what am I supposed to do, they were threatening to call corporate". In my opinion I would have let that guy call, I would show them the footage of him jumping the fence and threatening to assault staff. Minus all this, the hotel was a good stop when we really needed it from a dangerous storm coming for us. The front desk clerks and housekeepers made it an enjoyable and safe stay, even patrolling the hotel for our safety and our...
