I love the all-you-can-eat sushi at Kyoto! They offer a TON of different options; even if you don’t like raw fish, there are still plenty of different options. They have sushi, sashimi, different fried options, lo mein, you name it. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the all-you-can-eat for kids unless you know they like this kind of food. Otherwise they may be stuck with just lo mein or something. I personally don’t bring my kids along because they wouldn’t eat enough to make it worth the price, and it would be a waste of money. But for me, who loves all of the options, this place is amazing!

We went for a date night. We were tempted by their all you can eat dinner since the menu is immense! That option is a little spendy, so we instead ordered a la carte. The quality was excellent, and we plan to go back. We ordered edamame, dumplings, a couple of drinks, a rainbow roll, and Katsu Don. Even with the two appetizers, we came in under the price for two all you can eat meals. The Katsu Don came with Miso soup and a ginger salad. The soup was good, but the salad surprised me with how flavorful it was considering its simplicity. Crisp and delicious!

My only complaints were how loud the music was, the quality of the chicken teriyaki, and the lack of gluten free soy sauce. The music was overwhelming and GF soy sauce would be a simple accommodation to have. The chicken seemed undercooked and just weird and the teriyaki sauce was just like colored water. We arrived a few minutes after they opened and were the fifth table to arrive. All of our food came out quickly. Our server (John) was present, kind and efficient. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back!

My friend and I decided to try this new location of Kyoto and I will admit the food was good but the bill was another issue. My friend and I split the bill putting it on our card except after we left there was an issue with my friends card so they decided to charge both meals on my card. I call to inquire about the issue and it too two day and 5 phone calls for the manager to get back to me and when the manager did asked me to just get the money from my friend. She happened to leave the country the next day, let alone it is not her responsibility to fix your restaurants mess up. So I gave the manager my card information on the phone to have him put the money back this was now Friday and I ate there on the Monday of that week. He informed me that it would probably be Monday or Tuesday till the money was back on my account which is understandable. On Tuesday I still had not seen anything back on my account I figure let’s give them till Wednesday to see if the bank system is just slow. When I did not see anything come through I called the manager back and he was like “o yeah my system sent me a message saying invalid card number” he then proceeded to read off a card number, which was not mine, over the phone. Which tell me I’m not the only one who had an issue. After I told him that was not my card at all he shuffled some stuff around and found my card number. We figured out that two of the numbers got switched in the communication over the phone, which is understandable, but I was over all unimpressed with the lack of urgency this manager had to get things sorted out and very off put my the lack of professionalism. If I every decide to eat at this location again, and that’s a big if, I...

We were in the mood for sushi and the restaurant we planned to go to was closed, so we looked for others and found this one. We arrived and were seated, but after a seemingly long time of not being greeted by a server or given a glass of water, I asked the host if a server was assigned to our table. He went and got her, and from then on, service was okay. My real concern about this experience was what we got for the price (a well over $100 meal for two after tax and tip). If this sushi meal had been a $12.99/person deal at one of the buffet places, I'd have thought it was fine, but it is not what I expect when I pay for what should be especially good sushi at a place known for sushi. When it is over $33 per person, it is just unacceptable. We have eaten at other Kyoto Sushi locations in the past and thought they were fine, so I don't know what happened here. The food wasn't bad; it just wasn't as good as it should have been for the price. The appetizers and other non-sushi items we ordered were okay, but not outstanding. The atmosphere was a bit too loud for our taste. Sushi places shouldn't be loud. We certainly won't go back to this location, and with known better options, we will be hesitant to go to any Kyoto Sushi...

My family and I came in on 9/13 prior to the dinner rush.

My wife is PREGNANT (but craving sushi) so we came in. We always get the, "Date Night" and asked if we could substitute some of the RAW rolls for COOKED rolls for my wife. The manager turned us down and said we can't substitute. He said there could be more expensive rolls. I said we would be happy to substitute equal or lesser value rolls, but we were still denied.

We ended up ordering similar items, but our waiter added extra unordered items to our bill, so I talked with the manager. I asked why we couldn't substitute items. He came up with another excuse and he said it was too hard on the kitchen staff... even though there were 3 idle kitchen staff, and only 6-8 seated tables.

I told him that the menu doesn't say, "No substitutions." He pulled out the menue, pointed at the item, and said, "It shouldnt have to say that. You see an item, you see whats included. If you don't like it you can order something else."

I just wanted to get a meal deal that was safe for my wife to enjoy... ordering everything individually cost close to $30 more.

TERRIBLE manager. Rude, inconsiderate, and unwilling to help a pregnant lady. We used to come here every 2-4 months... but we...
