McDonald's — Restaurant in Coon Rapids

No one should go to this McDonald's. First off, I understand that prices have increased because of the economy, but at least provide the same level of quality. Why am I paying more, and the food quality is trash? Anyone reading this, please do not go to this McDonald's. I went there around 6:30 pm and was surprised that there was no one in the drive thru. I thought well maybe people are using the mobile app and just ordering ahead. I don't think so. I think that people have gotten wind that this McDonald's have very low quality food. Very low quality. The food is warm. I got a double quarter pounder with cheese and added lettuce and tomatoes. My burger wasn't even fully on the bun and it actually looked like the patties had broken apart and were just cooked by piecing them together. I could only stand a few bites and I had to throw the rest out because I thought, "this is going to give me food poising. " The burger was warm. What I don't understand is how can you wait for your order that you are thinking is being made fresh and it is warm. I also order fries and they weren't even filled up. The fries were old fries, probably from the day before that they refried. I could tell they were refried because they were hot but soggy and once you put them in your mouth you had a film on your tongue like you just picked crisco. Gross. And they were brown colored which told me that they were thrown back into the frier and then salted again. Even my youngest was like, "uh mom the fries are gross." Something told me that when no one is at the drive thru at McDonald's and it is about 6:30 I probably should have went somewhere else.

I mean this is McDonald's and I am not expecting gourmet food, but I am expecting to get food that tastes like it is actually from McDonald's and not the dumpster behind McDonald's. I normally wouldn't even write a review for McDonald's but this location has gone downhill. Not clean, lukewarm food, over salted 5-day old fries. I would not recommend this location at all. They need a Revamp and reloonk at their process.

I got lettuce and tomato on the double quarter pounder with cheese. The chees on the burger indicated that it was old, it turned a different color like when you have sliced cheese in the fridge amd forget to wrap it. It was a clear-ish color. The lettuce looked like It was in the burger for two days and then just added to the microwave. I scraped all the vegetables, lettuce, tomato, and onion off the burger. The lettuce looked wilted and soggy. How can that be if I just ordered by burger. Grosssssssss. Don't eat here.

Also I did a mobile pickup. I was already in the parking lot and placed my order. Bad idea. Uggh.

If the food isn't fresh why do we always have to wait for so long at this location? It seems like the are making the burgers ahead of time and freezing them, then putting them in the microwave to give to people.

Horrible. Manager was unconcerned that her staff took just shy of 20 minutes to cook 3 pick twos, 2 small fries, 1 hash brown. I've only been to this location twice. The first I left as two young kids joked with one another while I stood at the register for over 5 minutes. This time they took 20 minutes to prepare my food while the cashier made handshakes and gave away free ice cream cones to his homies. My cashier barely spoke English and definitely didn't understand me. I believed my order was incredibly simple but she ended up charging me for extra eggs on my sausage egg mcmuffins. The only food that was a tad hotter than Luke warm were the egg mcmuffins they screwed up by adding extra eggs. I decided not to argue my bill because the manager cared so little when I called her out on how ridiculous it was that I was waiting as long as I did for my order. I will never go back to this location as my 14 year old pointed out to me that all their staff are incredibly ghetto mixed with a lot of white trash in the manager. I strongly encourage you to eat at any other McDonald's in this world. I went to a Las Vegas McDonald's on the strip and had my order a lot sooner than this. I always tell myself to not go to this McDonald’s. It was late, 11:00pm to be exact and the McDonald’s that I usually go to is closed. This has happened more than once but it always happens during the night shift (4:00pm to close). The order is always wrong and the food is always messy. I ordered a triple cheeseburger and I got a double cheeseburger with and extra slice of cheese. The cheese was cold and did not even melt. Burger was cold. Ketchup was all over the wrapper. Pickles bunched up and burger looks like someone sat on it ( I know this Bc I seen how an actual triple cheeseburger looks like and taste like and it’s nothing like this trash). Please have your employees go through proper training on how to prepare a burger. This was 11pm at night so it was not busy. Please invest in your employees. They do not know how to prepare/cook food for customers. On top of that customer service is poor. Get rid of your night crew and get new employees. Get rid of your night manager too. Y’all keep messing up. The McDonald’s at northdale blvd however is exceptionally great. Excellent customer service. Attention to detail and burger looks delicious and taste delicious.
