Tried to stop in and buy focaccia on a Monday at 1PM. The person behind the counter stared at me until I repeated my question, then rolled his eyes when I asked when focaccia would be available for sale. If they wanted my purchase...? it's not evident. Sourdough bread looked good, would have love to tried it, but frankly, the person behind the counter did not make me want to return. Sorry. I get that some breads are only available at certain times of the day, but a salesman would have not stared at us uncomfortably until we decided to leave and potentially (we did not opt to return) come back. There are times when the salt is wrong when the Levin is wrong and it's not risen properly my problem is it still gets old I've had to return bread there before because of its improperly done. but there is a guy there that's the baker that seems to always have it right whenever I go in there he cuts me the right bread does the right thing I need. My father was a baker so I know about leven and rising and salt levels. it's the best sourdough around for sure but you just have to check each loaf and make sure. Read moreStumbled upon this hidden gem while picking up dinner around the corner. We kept eyeing the store while waiting for our food and decided what the heck, let's go check it out. We had come at the end of the day so after reading all these reviews I was a bit bummed we missed all the good stuff. However, we did pick up a loaf of sourdough and a right-out-of-the-oven baguette - OMG, to die for!!
