I love La brasa it’s the best Peruvian rotisserie restaurant in the area! The chicken is always juicy and delicious which usually comes with 2 sides the best combo is always salad and fries but there are a plethora of options to choose from. They also make other delicious Peruvian dishes like anticuchos, lomo saltado, chicken/shrimp/steak fried rice, and many more! The service is always top notch and everything is always clean. There’s plenty of places to sit but sometimes it can get packed but there’s always the to go option but the chicken is it’s best when you eat it hot and fresh there.

Visited La Brasa at their Coral Springs location. Ordered a cilantro chicken soup and half a chicken with black beans and tostones with a soda. Soon as I started the soup I realized I ordered too much food. The portions were huge and tasted great. As you can see in the last picture I had to take most of the chicken and tostones home in a box because I couldn’t eat it all. Considering how expensive food items these days are I am shocked I got this much great quality food for under $22 including tax and the service was excellent as well. I will definitely be back.

Had the worst experience ever. Tried to order 2 regular 1/4 chicken (breasts) and the cashier with no manners and a very bad attitude said no that if we ordered a breast the next order HAD to be leg. We ended up ordering as he commanded and they served what they wanted. On top of it, the plates were broken which is a violation of the health code. After making it a point to the server, we ordered picarones and again were given a broken plate. It appears this place has no management. We asked for the manager and they said there was none. I would never come back again

I strongly discourage patronizing this business, and I hate writing those words.

To its credit: Food is better than you should expect at this price point, both in quality and flavor. The facility is consistently clean, and I usually see someone running food to guests and cleaning the tables and floors and surfaces. I wish I could write a glowing review for this location -- and a few good first visits seemed to warrant it.

Service, however, is inconsistent -- and sometimes horrible. Locking the doors well in advance of closing time (without posting a staff member at the door) is a life safety concern and warrants management review to ensure it is not a fire code violation. This also warrants review by the local and state authorities.

I ordered online tonight for the first time, around 8:30, and I won't make this mistake again. Previously I was deterred by the $1.85 "service charge" for placing an online order. (Huh?? Seems excessive.) The amount of time required to fill the order also seemed unduly long.

Lesson learned: Thou shalt not order online.

When I arrived around 8:45-8:50, the door was already locked (ten to fifteen minutes BEFORE closing time). It took some effort with a game of charades through the glass door pointing at my cell phone to get someone to unlock the door to allow me in to pick up the order I had already paid for.

When an employee allow me to enter, I went to the counter gave them my name and indicated I had placed an order online -- and was given a (to put it nicely) a non-committal non-response. Fifteen to twenty minutes later, someone asked my name -- and I was horrified to learn that my order was sitting on a shelf, probably getting colder the whole time. I felt like I was burdening this location with my business tonight -- which, don't worry, I am certainly very hesitant to return. I would hate to be a burden with my dollars.

(I learned later that my order wasn't even completed correctly -- one of the two sides was wrong.)

My recommendation is simple: take your cue from the fact that they (a) lock customers in before closing time. and (b) lock out customers who already paid for their food before closing time. That speaks very loudly. Your safety and your life are not high priorities here. (Why should we trust their adherence to food prep standards if they are lax with basic fire safety rules?) ...

I love La Brasa as a company but this location is not it.

Comparatively the food, service, layout, and absurdly the pricing are way off from the others.

First things first is the management of this La Brasa just doesn't compete with the other 2 locations I have frequented. The efficency and atmosphere of the employees just isn't there. Think Pollo Tropical where the other restaraunts the workers seem to care.

The food is terrible. Again I am comparing it to the other stores. It's always dry and taste nowhere near as good as the others. Tatse like less seasoning, less effort. They also portion you significantly less than the others.

Last is the most upsetting part. I have no problem with paying a premium for premium services, I'll often be very happy to spend extra to get what I want. But this place charges 2 to 4 dollars higher overall than the other franchises for worse service, food, and quantity. That bothers me. The Plantation store (in the same high class area, higher even) charges 11.99 for a boneless chicken meal, at this place it is 16.99 and you get less food. To be very honest I'm getting a feel that's it's all due to is bad and greedy management of this specific location so now I drive an extra 10 minutes south to the one in Margate because this one has burned me 4 or 5 times in a row. No Mas, manage your store better. It...

I’ve been to Peru several times and I’m very disappointed to see that the only pollo a la “brasa” option that we have nearby is this place because it’s selling a wrong image of the real thing. I’ve come to try this place and have it couple trials. First time service was very slow even though it wasn’t full we received the food but did not have plates os silverware. The chicken was raw and with blood in the plate still. On the second time I ordered the chicken and specifically asked for it to be cooked well done as my first time it was raw. We received the food and no plates or silverware and once the chicken arrived it was bloody again. I requested the server to please cook it more as we don’t feel safe eating raw chicken and we did not have our request answered so I asked the person the front that I requested the well cooked chicken and a gentleman who supposedly is a brother of the manager who did not identify himself and the server refused to inform me his name grabbed my chicken with his bare hands and started to yell aggressively at me saying it wasn’t raw did not listen to me and mistreated me saying to back of as he was going to prepare me a special one. Meanwhile I saw one take out order coming and falling out of the box, instead trashing the food they put it back in the box. Just disgusted by this place as...
