So very disappointed! Stopped by as I was passing through the area for dinner and took a seat in the bar at the bar. Ordered my drink in food though the bartender seemed kind of annoyed which I didn't question I understand places are short staffed so that was probably why. As I was sitting there sipping my soda I noticed a really weird smell to the left of me that kept coming and going. When my wonton tacos arrived the smell was already bothering me but I tried to shake it off because that's my favorite and I usually enjoy it. I did mention to another server behind the bar that there was a really bad smell to the left of me and it was getting nauseating she seemed to shrug it off. Finally the bartender came back over to ask me if everything was okay and turned around before I could even speak and I was like wait a minute and explain to her about the smell. She said she would let a manager know came back out and said oh there was a spill yesterday or earlier or something and it's because of that. No one apologized no one asked me if I wanted to move it just seemed like they really didn't care. I was only able to eat two of my tacos because the smell was just getting really gross and I paid my bill and left. Even though I feel like my server wasn't very friendly and I was a little insulted that nobody really seemed to care about the horrible smell and that the manager didn't even bother to say sorry or anything I still left a decent tip but I won't be coming back to this one. I understand short-staffed and I understand things happen but don't treat your customers like they're an...
Read moreIf I could give them no starts, I would. First off, the chips in our appetizer were like a plateful of rocks. I don't know how long they had been held, but they were brown and hard. Secondly, the cheese and taco meat that came with them was cold and barely half a portion. Even the second portion we were brought was lukewarm at best. Next, my husband ordered the bourbon sirloin medium and what he was brought was well done, so the waitress had it reordered and when the manager brought the next steak out it was medium in the middle but the outside was burnt to a crisp, not to mention had some mystery substance glazed over it. Needless to say he didn't eat it. So they took it off our meal and gave us $5 toward next time, as if we would be back. So overall we had a poor appetizer that was sub par and waited for a steak that was inedible, while my husband watched me eat nonetheless, and after sitting over an hour in wait, the only compensation we were offered was to not pay for the portion we did not consume. The waitress was nice and the wonton tacos were good, but def not worth what we spent. Overall the worst dining experience I have ever had. To make matters even worse, it was my birthday. I actually sat in Applebee's and ordered Domino's. Never going back and do...
Read moreThe food was excellent, however... When one of the people at my table ordered a beer with dinner, he was told he had to finish it quickly when it arrived at the table. We were told the manager wants no alcohol on the table by 12 midnight (it was 20 till at the time).
I spoke with the manager who confirmed that all alcohol must be finished by 12 per local law...upon further inquiry, he finally admitted that it was a company policy, not really the local law.
So, be prepared to be told how fast you must chug a beer, so that your drink is completed one full hour before the local ordinance requires. I think I'll pass next time.
It's a shame because the food was good even if the service and managers "control issues" make it less than desirable.
Update
OMG, the manager (Steve) just came to our table and snatched the half finished beer from my dinner companion and balked at removing it from the bill until all four of us objected...
