The service at this location was not only bad it was offensive. My son and I arrived to one worker that was helping another customer. No big deal we patiently waited. An older white haired lady came from the back saw us waiting then proceeded to have a personal conversation with someone trying to leave for 3-5 minutes while we just stood there never saying anything to us not even a hold on I'm busy. Then the person finally walked out she took our order. Mine first, which was a fat bread with yellow egg, Terr. chicken and shredded cheddar cheese. By this time the first employee had finished up with the previous customer and was waiting for us at the register. The employee preparing my order looked over to the one at the register and told her to ring it up as a Terr. chicken sandwich with egg added because that would be more than ringing it up as an egg and cheese adding meat. This is the sandwich I always order at Subway and I have never had an employee figure out the most expensive way to ring it up or at least never have a discussion about it in front of the customer. I bite my tongue and didn't say a word. She then took my sons order pulled mine out of the warmer and left it sit getting cold fixed his sandwich and pulled it out of the warmer at which point someone else walked in and she basically forgot we were there. She made his sandwich, warmed it then pushed ours out of the way and put the lettuce sauces packed it in the wrapper, bagged it put our order on hold and rung him up. All while our sandwiches sat there getting cold and we continued to wait. after completing his order and sale she got back to us. We had never been in this store before and WILL NEVER GO BACK! Currently not sure I ever want to go back to a Subway again. I wasn't having the greatest day to start with but I was polite and didn't even mind waiting until the wait was a pointless waste of my time not caused by employees helping other people that got there before me. By the way, as I said I have been ordering this sandwich for years I know what it should cost and how it should be rung up. I've had cashiers not have any clue how to ring it up because it's a little different and I explain how and away we go. The lady today was correct, it was the most expensive way to ring up the sandwich, it cost about $2.50 more than everywhere else in the country. Hope the two bucks was worth you guys...
ย ย ย Read moreStopped by on the way home from Cumberland. There was only one couple ahead of me and my girlfriend, and it took quite some time for their food to be made. (Only one person was making the food and Manning the register). No biggie... I asked about the special that clearly stated " any sub and a bag of chips and you get a free Gatorade". I'm sure it would make more sense if it stated " any any 12-in sub" instead.... Still No biggie....
My girlfriend ordered a chicken, bacon and avocado sub, and somehow we got charged for the bacon ๐คท. I ordered a meatball sub. Want to have a seat and took a bite out of it and the meatball was cold. Not cold cold.... Just not hot nor warm. It hadn't been cooking for too long, because you can tell the difference in consistency in the middle of a meatball when it's been cooked as opposed to just being thrown in the microwave and then thrown in the warmer.....
I had only taken a bite and took the sandwich back up to see what we could do about the problem. I'm guessing This was a huge issue.... The manager had to be called for every potential fix to the issue. Whether I was getting my money back, or getting a different sandwich? I opted to get my money back thinking it would be less of a problem for the girl making the sandwiches.... Instead I just got a lot of attitude, Aunt apparently the manager talking poorly about me over the phone, to which the sandwich maker had to tell him multiple times that he was on speaker.....
Oh.... And apparently there was a cat in the back of the restaurant. I continuously heard it Meowing.
10/10 would rather eat the gravel off the road in front of the store then go back there.
Also, I'd like to note that the girl that was not making sandwiches and came out of the back to check the temperature of the warmer and the meatballs was much nicer and a little...
ย ย ย Read moreAwful experience. Awful service. Linda the manager was very rude about taking orders and making the sandwiches as the customer asked. I had asked for her to possibly get spinach that wasn't gooey and she took the gooey spinach and put it on the sandwich anyway. Ignored my request and snapped at me about asking for a little more veggies than what she put. Even though I paid for my meals, she argued that she knew more than the customer. I asked for toasted subs and the did not even look anything close to toasted. I would never recommend anyone to stop at this location. Just a few miles up there are other subways. If I had known that my experience would've been this awful as well as my food, I would have gone that few more minutes...
