The cook needs to have someone capable of training him working with him. He acts competent but after having been a master grill operator at Waffle House for 5 years is obvious he needs significant help and shouldn't be alone. He wasn't scraping the grill of properly making the extremely greasy bacon. The bacon was not fully cooked. Our order came out a couple items at a time and not because the waitress couldn't carry it all. She could only bring what he called her to pick up. He didn't even drop the waffle until the rest of the order was at the table. My daughter's toast didn't have any butter on it and it was not called in as dry. And her hash browns where called in as scattered but came out in the ring. The cook was not prepared to be on his own and lacked focus. It was more like we where just going to accept what he decided to give us. Not a qualified grill operator, should be an apprentice.
There where grits stuck to the inside of my cup, and after finding it in mine we found grits stuck to the the inside of my daughter's too. But not until we had both drank half our sweet teas. The waitress did take them off the ticket, but the glasses should have been checked that they where in fact clean before putting them up to be used.
The entire staff was scatter brained and you couldn't tell who was waiting which tables. My daughter had to raise her hand like in school to even get our waitresses attention as she was across the store waiting tables that where on another section and the other waitress would only pop her head up here and there.
The whole place lacked professionalism. And made me glad I wasn't the one cooking in that disorganized mess where they didn't seem to care about their coworkers much less...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy waitress Angie was absolutely incredible. Iāve never had such professional and caring service in my life. From the moment I arrived she was on her a game making sure we were comfortable, brought us drinks very quickly, had excellent manners, she looked clean and I seen her wash her hands multiple times which I donāt see many waitresses do now days. I literally could not have asked for better service. Not only were her waitressing skills too notch but her social skills were definitely on point as well. I do believe I will be coming in more often just because of the experience I had with her.I went yesterday at around noon. Which is not something I normally do I usually prefer to cook at home. Quite honestly Waffle House had a very bad name here in town so I just skipped out of going the relief manage Angie I was talking about above has totally changed my mind. You can really tell when sheās in the building her whole attitude and personality helps so much with the ambience of the experience. Make sure if you get the chance to have her as your waitress to tip her well because she is deserves and earns every dollar she is given. What an amazing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreProbably some of the worst service Iāve received in a long time at a restaurant. I understand alot of places are short staffed right now and working the best they can, but our service lacked even past that. When we came in there were about five dirty tables waiting to be cleaned while the waitresses stood at the counter and talked. Finally they cleaned a table off for us and got our order. In the meantime multiple cars of people walked in and walked back out after waiting 5-10 minutes to be seated (there were tables, just no one cleaning them). One party even cleaned their own table so they could be seated. However, after waiting a good while for someone to take their order they also left. After about 45 minutes we received our two plates of food that were cold. No silver ware was provided to us to eat and after sitting for about 5 minutes waiting for someone to bring us some we ended up having to get up and get our own. Our drinks also sat empty for the remainder of our meal after getting our food and we never got our refill. We tried our best to be very understanding of the circumstances, but our limits were for sure pushed...
