We were driving through from out of state and decided to stop at Cook Out. I had heard good things from friends but we don't have them where we live. This was not a good experience. It's a fast food restaurant, I get it, it's not classy food; and yeah, it's got a lot of teenage/young staff but this was ridiculous. The woman on the drive thru could NOT be understood. She mumbled every word on the already poor quality headset so we had no idea if she even got our order. We got to the window and she told us the total for 1 tray with a drink ($13) so we asked to verify the order because we thought that was too much. She closed the window and disappeared...for 5 minutes. Mind you, both drive thrus had at least 5 cars waiting. They did get the order right. The order came and everything was soaked with grease. The bag was nearly falling apart.. the fries were a mixture of near-raw potatoes and crispy and dry. The chicken was extremely dry and over cooked. We didn't get the dipping sauce we asked for either. We ended up eating a tender and the drink and threw the rest away. Maybe I don't understand the menu but we ordered a tray with chicken tenders (3), 2 orders of fries and a diet coke. The total was $13 and some change. Did I read the board wrong? A tender tray had the tenders plus 2 sides for $4.99 plus an additional $1 for a drink. Either way, the value was no where near the price paid. We won't be going back.

Be aware that this is a double drive through location and does NOT have a restroom available. For folks like us coming in off the interstate, this can be important information. We ended up driving down the road to visit another restaurant to use their restroom and outdoor seating and got a shake from there. Aside from that, this place lives up to the Cook Out we know and love. Incredibly reasonable prices (my wife and I both ate well for $11.75) and quick, friendly service. Any place that offers a quesadilla or corn dog as an available side is alright by me. Yum!

Restaurant has a 100 score from the health department but also has a roach reading the inspection sheet with me. I had to throw my meal in the trash. After taking one bite from the burger I felt very ill for the remainder of my 14 hour road trip. I had to eat charcoal to settle my stomach the next day as I was in intense pain and discomfort the entire time with extreme diarrhea for the entire vacation. I don’t recommend stopping here. My wife and I have been to many cookouts in 5 different states and never had an experience like this.

I'm giving 2 stars only because I usually have fair service, sometimes even great service but tonight was pretty rough. We waited in line from about 10.50 till 11.30 and I ordered a chicken quesadilla tray with a corn dog and fries, a bbq tray with cheddar bites, a large cup of ice and 2 sides of nuggets and she said it would be $18 something when I asked her to repeat the order she said pull forward. We got up there and I asked her to repeat it. She said "you got 2 quesidilla trays, one bbq tray, 2 sides of nuggets, and a large ice. You ordered a lot." I corrected her and told her we only needed 1 quesidilla tray and she replied "yeah, 1 tray thats what I said" then 20 min later finally gave us the bag and receipt and it had 3 trays...I bbq and 2 quesadilla trays... And when in went to tell her there WAS an extra tray that we didn't order she wouldn't come back to the window and she didn't even give us a drink for the extra one or my cup of ice....... After about 40 min in all waiting for our food I feel like our order shouldve been at least right. I am currently waiting on my boyfriend( since 11.30, and its 11.55 now) and he has been trying to at least get the drink and ice that they didn't give us... If I could review the worker herself that would be great, but that's not an option...

Brittany, the manager, helped the situation but, the girl who took our order was Sierra and she would not come to the window for 30 min while we were tapping on the walkup order window trying to get...

Stopped by 7-19-25 at 11:00pm for the first time. Got a Big double tray with everything on the burger along with fries, a chicken quesadilla, and a strawberry shake. Total: $11.33. Everything was fresh, bun on the burger was not smashed and looked right out of the bag, beef was juicy and cooked thoroughly, lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, bacon was crispy. All in all a perfect burger. The fries were crispy and freshly fried. The quesadilla was toasty and the chicken filling nice and hot though it was spicy which I wasnt expecting but nothing too crazy. The shake had a good mix of strawberry and vanilla with what I would say were strawberry pieces inside. It's not too tangy or bitter like other places. Overall a great...
