16 East Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Cordele

Terrible service. Took almost an hour to get our food during lunch hour. There was maybe two other tables in the whole place. I got the steak sandwich which was completely ripped up, i ciuldnt pick it up and eat it if i tried. The wings came with a basket full of grease, my kids wiuldnt eat them because of it. Asked for Tabasco, that had a broken top and dumped about a 1/4 cup on my foodso i ended up not getting to eat my food at all. Server never checked on us, never said anything about the fact that it was taking an hour to get the food, no refills on waters, and when she saw the food was as bad as it was never even apologized. Me personally, i would never drop food on somones tabme that looked like that. Lucky for her my husband paid because I would have left her nothing for a tip. I have been in the restaurant industry for 22 years. You are supposed to earn your tip. Or tab was between $50-$60, if your being shown this infant you to know that we normally tip 50% plus because we both serve/Bartend and know that that is how you make your living, the only reason you got the $10 tip is because my husband's nicer than me. Its the service industry. If I was running that place the server and the cook would be fired!!!! Still really hoping they are. I hope you as the managers/owner will handle this. Slow Slow Slow We arrived a little after lunch and were sat immediately. There were maybe 5 other tables not including the bar. Restaurant wasn’t busy. It took at least 15 minutes to be acknowledged and to get our drink order (2 soft drinks). After finally getting our drinks and placing an appetizer order our server disappeared. We waited another 20 minutes and she never checked on us or gave us any type of update of when the appetizer will be coming out nor did she come by to see if we were ready to order our meals. If the service is this slow during a less busy time period I would hate to see what the experience would be like on a Friday or Saturday evening. We wanted to give 16 East Bar and Grill a try since Cordele has limited restaurant selections but this will be our first and last time coming to 16 East Bar and Grill. After waiting 45 minutes and still no appetizer and our lunch order not even placed we walked out. We shouldn’t have to try and hunt down a server to check on our food and request drink refills or to let them know we’re ready to place our order. First let's start with the service we were not greeted when we first came in the young lady that was helping us seemed very unexperienced. While taking our order to go instead of asking for help she punched in what she thought was correct she seemed as if she did not know exactly what she was doing she waited til the last minute which was basically when everything was messed up to ask for help management at the time did not step in until last minute we were overcharged for simple wings and fries. The special was for $8 but we will charge $16 when I was told that my money would be credited back to my card which was 3 days ago it has not yet been solidified not only that but the food is way too expensive to be served cold I'm not sure how long it sat back there while we waited but we were there for over 30 minutes not only that but it was very tasteless we continue to ask is the food ready we were told yes but the food never came back out until we paid we felt as if children was running the restaurant that day also I ordered a Coke to go I got it but it had a greasy tint on top of the drink terrible terrible will not...
