If you know anything about Cordell, then you know there is virtually no other place. That’s good to eat. I’ve been in Cordell for over a month now and I did not even know that Cracker Barrel was there because the signs are practically invisible. They’re too small. They’re turned in the wrong directions and there’s no sign on 16 East St. That you can see, at night there’s a sign that is lit up but it’s not lit up very well and it’s turned in the wrong direction then there’s a little sign as you go over to the Home Depot, but you don’t even notice it. It’s so small and then the restaurant is turned towards the freeway instead of towards the streets and so it’s really really hard to see.
I’ve been here for a month and I wish I had known it was here. I would’ve eaten there every single night for breakfast and dinner. It is so good and the people are so professional and hard-working and sweet and nice and kind that I can’t say enough about it if you’re anywhere in Cordele or near Cordell eat breakfast there eat lunch there eat dinner there you won’t be disappointed, and if for some reason you are, they will make it right with a smile on their face.
My server‘s name was Alivia And she’s the sweetest kindest nicest server I’ve ever had very professional. The manager KayLee and I don’t think it’s spelled quite like that but she also is really kind, conscientious, hard-working, and very Professional.
The food was great. I had the pot roast stew and it was delicious. I also had the turnip greens, but it was served with some meat and I would’ve preferred it without the meat so next time I’ll get a different side I can’t wait to try all the different sizes eventually. Because I’m gonna go there every other day for dinner
I’m working in Cordell and I would’ve been so thankful if I had known that Cracker Barrel was there from The beginning….

Read moreHi, I guess you could say I am a Cracker Barrel connoisseur. No matter where I’m at. If there’s a Cracker Barrel I’m going there so I’ve been to many many many Cracker Barrel‘s the one in Georgia that I’m referring to made me so sad and disappointed me and my family sat there for 47 minutes before they even acknowledged us after me asking About a waitress. They kept saying she’ll be here in a minute well 47 minutes later, I finally stopped someone who wasn’t working in the restaurant and asked them they came and took our drink order then, trying to order our food was another obstacle. We had to stop after 15-20 minutes and keep asking who our waitress was so by then we’ve been there an hour, and I’m not gonna lie when I tell you I was upset. This is not like Cracker Barrel service I’ve ever ever been to any state, so finally a girl came over, took our order she was not happy at all with us, I asked her if we could, please have some biscuits while we’re waiting, she replied, there ain’t no more we got a bake some. Another 25 minutes have gone by. I asked again. She said they’re backed up in the kitchen now I’ve seen Cracker Barrel completely full and we’ve always gotten a table, always gotten our drink order and our menu within five minutes or so when I tell you, this place was not full . When the food finally came out because we was getting ready to leave we had to get back on the road but when the food came out, it was warm to cold, , so either our waitress. Just left it sit up there Or maybe it was already made up I don’t know, but it was the worst food I’ve ever had from Cracker Barrel. She gave me a bowl of gravy and told me oh your grits don’t look right when it actually was a Bowl of gravy!!!!! I just have to say this was the worst experience I have ever had and I promise you we eat at Cracker Barrel at least once every other week, and always when we travel. I’m so very disappointed in...
Read moreThis would have been a 1 review because we had an awful experience here. We stopped in for dinner on our way back from Florida. We were seated quickly and our sever, Jennifer was very friendly. This is where things went south. We placed our order but waited 55 minutes (not exaggerating) and still no food. I went to speak to a manager and Ms Anne came out to talk to me. She was very apologetic and explained that they were short staffed in the kitchen because one of the 2 cooks went home sick. She promised to see what was up with our food and get it out to us ASAP. Within 15 minutes our food finally arrived. Everything was good with the exception of my chicken which looked like it was undercooked. After everyone else finished, we went to check out. When asked about our experience I let the cashier know it wasn’t great. She offered to get a manager involved and back out came Ms. Anne. Again she was apologetic and offered to take 50% off our bill. Keep in mind, it isn’t about the money. My kids 5, 7, and 12 had been cooped up in the car since 10 am and it was a struggle to keep them under control while waiting for our food. Trust me when I tell you I don’t have unrealistic expectations and I understand things happen outside of the control of those in charge. Did our experience suck? Yes. Why am I still giving a 4 star review? It’s not about the delay we experienced, the uncooked chicken, and disgusting bathrooms because that was all terrible. Ms Anne was very sorry and did what she could to make it right. Jennifer was also very sorry and did her best to keep us with fresh drinks while we waited. I don’t hold them accountable for the things outside of their control and I would still recommend you stop in at Cracker Barrel because it’s clear they were all just having a bad day and for that I don’t think it’s fair to crush them with a 1...
