I caught on the phone and asked the woman who answered if people were allowed to bring their pets into Denny’s. She told me that they do allow pets at Denny’s. I bring my dog Blue over to the restaurant, and the hostess immediately asked me, “You must be the one that called me about bringing your dog?” I told her, “Yes”, and she looked at my dog and said, “I don’t know about that one.” I asked her what she meant. She said that my dog looked at like a pitbull. I told her mostly that my dog is an Italian greyhound. Then, she starts talking crap about my dog as if to joke with the other customer that was at the podium. She goes to get her manager, and he asked me if he’s a service dog. I told him that he in not, and then in full rejection mode, tells me that my dog is not allowed. Why was I not told that earlier in the phone call before we walked down here? Why is the manager and the hostess going to pack my dog to be a pitbull when he is an Italian greyhound? Even people who are not animal lovers, at least know the simple basics of different dog breeds. Why should I explain the forensics and differences of what people already know? You can tell the difference between a greyhound and a pitbull. Why is it that when I bring my dog over I have to receive hate, and so does he? Or is it because I am not of the class that Denny’s honors?! I wish I knew that in the past so that way I had never spent or wasted a a penny at this restaurant! My money is allowed here, but I am worthless, and my dog has to...
Read moreSeven of us decided to eat here after attending a funeral in Cordele. Those wanting salads were told no salad items were available. 2 of us ordered cheeseburgers with onion rings. They brought 1 with fries and 1 with rings. The person was almost finished with their burger before 5 rings were brought out. 5 people ordered 55+ country fried steak. Most of them asked for mashed potatoes. They reminded the waitress they still needed the gravy but it never arrived. She never offered refills, and when asked for a refill none was brought! Then said she mixed up our tickets & went to correct them but didn't give us the correct ones until we got to the register and didn't hand them to us to examine them. I handed her my CURRENT AARP card while she found our "table 42 ticket". 1 of our party forgot their money so we told her we'd pay for it it with our order, and she put them together. "No problem" until she forgot to give me my AARP discount for my burger (after being told I could get discount on regular menu item). She told my mother the card reader was ready as I was asking her had she applied my aarp discount and was told "you didn't give it to us." I did and pointed out she still had it in her hand. She handed it back to my mother (my card) and said it's too late, we already ran it and it can't be fixed. Lukewarm food, incomplete orders, no refills, not allowing us to view our bill before paying and not correcting an order...how do they stay in...
Read moreI wish I could put no stars honey because I will. The Worst Restaurant every. First off it was about 30 of us that came in to eat between 7:20 & 7:40pm of course we know it will take a while to get our food and drinks because it was so many of us which is understood, it's the fact that one of the Managers that is on duty Steve had the nerve to yell at our waitress with a nasty attitude telling her didn't he tell her not to take anymore orders when they close at 12. Which means you have to cook until atleast 15 20 mins before closing which is understandable. Second our food came out and it was rushed through we started getting our food at 9:23pm It was nasty and our stake was undone we had to send it back. While some of us was leaving food was still coming out we had to ask for to-go boxes with the food. Third but not last We sat there for 2hrs just for the waitress to come out after everyone got their to tell My husband that they do not have what he ordered so of course he left without eating. I'm pretty sure them having 4 stars come from morning shift. However our waitress was great and she did the best she could by taking care of a whole party of 30 by herself Thank You So Much Kamoria you...
