Bottom Line: With hair in the food, soggy tortillas, and a terrible bar tender, this place is too pricey for sub par Mexican style food. My family and I won't be dining here again.

The Nitty Gritty: This is a great location to create what I call a tourist trap. On the main thoroughfare to get to FL from most of the Southeast and in a decent commercial district that would attract travelers to get off the exit and not a lot of competition for this type of cuisine. By tourist trap, I simply mean that they seem to rely on 1 time visitors to stop in, charge too much for mediocre (at best) food and have no interest in whether or not we come back. I'm sure they have regulars that come here, but take out the tourists, and $100 says this place it out of business in 2 months.

My wife found a hair in her food within the first few bites. Finding out later that the OWNER of the restaurant was present and did not make an appearance to make sure everything was okay after the food was delivered the 2nd time tells me there is no concern for repeat business. And no, they weren't busy with two other tables with people at them and a couple on the patio (basically 90% empty... maybe that should have warded us off in the first place). The quesadilla I ordered for my kids was so soggy and wet that the tortilla was basically inedible. Taking 5 seconds in the kitchen to drain off the extra liquid before slopping it on the plate would have gone a long way. The mojito my wife ordered was 95% syrup and way too sweet to enjoy. And they charged way too much for the beer and drinks. Our waitress couldn't even tell us how much the drink was and just said between $6 and $11 (it was $11...go figure) The cashier was rude and abrasive. I questioned the amount of my bill and her first reply was, "that's the owner right there, do you want me to have him ring you up?"... wow. No thanks I just want to leave. With a bill of over $70, this place is not worth it!

Thanks for reading and remember to let me know if what I shared was helpful with an anonymous thumbs up! Be sure to take a look at some of my other local reviews and have a...

So expensive for so very little. I was told one price yet I get there and costed more then what I was told. Specifically told that for three meats which what I wanted would cost me $14 and some change therefore I cancelled for two meats and was then told $12 and some change...I arrive to pick up my order and it Was just what I said the two meats instead of the three and still paid the $14 and change per meal mind you it was ONLY the two meats ❌❓❗🤔....therefore why not the three meats as I was originally told $14 and change. I paid $14 and change for two meals a piece still when I was told 2 meats would be $12 and change ....I didn't like that the cook which was the Manager after calling to talk to him he didn't do any anything about it. It wasn't my fault the way your cashier explained this to myself and my fiance....it was their cashiers fault and it came out of my pocket for her mistake...which I discovered the one whom answered our call WAS NOT EVEN THE CASHIER WHOM HANDLED OUR ORDER. Again it wasn't on us that we were told this by your other employee whom didn't even know what nor how the prices go...to sum this up we get home to eat it and OMG! Our trays was not even half full❗❗❗❗...I get it ....price gauging. Well we are all trying to get more for our dollars as well as your trying to get more for your establishment. What is this world coming to? I feel he should have made it right for us due to an ERROR on his own employers misrepresentation. It would NOT have hurted to show your customers some kind of remorse...MORALS. POINT BLANK IT COULD HAVE GOTTEN OUT OF CONTROL YET WE WERE THE BIGGER PEOPLE IN THIS SITUATION WHEN IT'S YOUR ESTABLISHMENT. { GO FIGURE} 🤔 {Food was good yet displeased with how things...

Went here with sports team after local event. The service was horrible. The waitress couldn't understand how to take orders from 12 kids wearing jersey's with numbers to help her keep track of them. We had to write our own orders, go to the kitchen to get our own drinks, and basically wait on ourselves. One of the parents killed a roach climbing up the wall behind their booth. Many of the drinks weren't made correctly. The food was gross. It had no color and I couldn't cut through the meat I was served. My daughter ordered chicken tenders which came out tasting like fish - clear sign of dirty oil not being changed out often. Even their water tasted strange. It took about an hour just to get drinks out on the table for everyone. They charge you 75 cents for a glass of ice water! The waitress was flipping out over everything and made it sound like they are very poorly treated employees. We had 5 tables and one of them never had their food order taken - so they left to go elsewhere. The owner rang up our tickets when we were leaving. He was RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! I told him I could not eat my meal and he didn't charge me. BUT - when he asked if I wanted to leave a tip...I said $3 (my bill was only $13) - I checked my bank statement this morning and he charged my card for a $5 tip!!!!!!! WTH??????? This was the WORST restaurant I've...

What can I say, I like Mexican food. I had been in Cordele for nearly a week of what was supposed to be 3 days max, and decided to reward myself for my final night in town. First impressions were that the owner hadn't updated the interior since the 70s. It didn't even feel like a Mexican dive restaurant, just an old restaurant that the owner doesn't care about anymore. It wasn't busy when I was there and I was seated quickly. The waitress was perfectly pleasant and I cannot complain about the level of customer service I received. I ordered a chicken meal that said it was supposed to be "hot" 🔥. When she came back to ask how the meal was and if it was too hot I was reminded that this meal was supposed to be spicy. There was no spice at all. KFC has spicier chicken. The 🔥 salsa, however, was hot. It took a minute, but when it kicked in, the fire made itself known. If you're looking for fire in your mouth, try the spicy salsa. The queso she brought me for dipping the chips was probably an off-brand Velveeta for all the flavor it had. Would I return here? Probably not. I don't live in Cordele and couldn't imagine taking a detour off the highway for the food at this place. There did seem to be a bar area that I didn't go into and an outdoor seating area that I also did not explore.

Maybe we went on an off-day, but it was the weekend, and it was not a great experience. First, the service was extremely slow. I understand that there are other tables, but i felt like we were being forgotten way too much. Even after we finished, i made eye contact with our waitress, who was on the other side of the room, and she turned her head like she didn't see me. We had to go up to the register to ask to pay so we could finally leave. The best part of the food was the soda. The salsa was just pureed tomatoes with no seasoning. The chicken had no seasoning and tasted like it was boiled in water. I kinda felt bad because this family walked in and waited for a while and were ignored. They walked out. At least they were not tortured, like we were, and hopefully found some tasty food. I love mexican food and this was not mexican food. Picture is of the so-called salsa
