Nice place. Didn’t get to try the food but the place was full of plaques from years past. Lots of APA champs going back to the 90’s. Being an apa member myself, it was nice to see so many trophies and plaques proudly displayed. The bartender Loraine (I think). She was super nice. And there was a young man who answered the phone when we called prior to arriving. He was so polite and also greeted us as we came up to the bar. Didn’t have to wait long for a table. Which was nice, cause I was a bit worried. Tables were well maintained and had a decent amount of room to make shots with adjacent tables close by. Staff, tables and the place were all awesome. Had a great time. I’m sure I will visit again if I’m ever I. Town and needing...
Read moreIt's a joke, the only thing more pathetic and depraved are the owners....The only place I've ever been that the poor customers have to act like they like the owners as bad as they do. While everyone know's they're such low-lives, unfortunately it's a very convenient place for many. Cant say anything about much of the patrons, cause the one's I knew best were good people for damn sure! Which in my eyes makes it that much more of a shame that good people should have to put up with owners like that. On a pool side, they own some of the worst tables in the area with pockets the size of basketball rims, except for 1, but don't get me wrong cause if that's your kinda place then go for it by...
Read moreBartender and atmosphere where nice enough. Having said that, you can't charge $12 for a double well whiskey on a Sunday night. I mean the well whiskey was Aristocrat(maybe $8 a liter) and she was required to use a pourer so it was literally 2-2.5 ounces of some really cheap and terrible whiskey for $12 a glass. I get that this is a tourist town with the lake right there and all but the owners should be embarrassed serving junk whiskey at those prices, Chicago is cheaper, no joke. Walked up and across the street to Tropicana, $9 for a double, free pour with Jack Daniels, much better, I don't need a great deal just slightly...
