We ordered 7 cold sandwiches and a kid's grilled cheese which cost over $107. Most of the sandwiches were $13 dollars and the grilled cheese was $8. The kid's grilled cheese had literally one "1" slice of cheese, and each of the $13 chicken salad wraps had maybe three tablespoons of chicken salad, a tomato and some sort of spinach or lettuce. They were tasteless. How about some interesting ingredients (e.g. grapes, walnuts) in a chicken salad sandwich from a shop that considers itself "Gourmet". The other sandwiches were similarly subpar. Wawa sandwiches, which I would never claim to be anything but average, at $7 are far better. You expect a shop that considers itself to offer "gourmet" products could do better. Definitely not...

Great wine and sandwich shop on the way to points north on highway 12. We stopped here on our bikes to pickup food to take with us to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The service was great, the sandwiches were great. Each sandwich came with a well isolated pickle spear and a few pickled onions.
Their cookies are also very good and essential nourishment to hungry cyclists. I had the 'Smores' cookie. It was chocolaty as well as chewy.
It looks like there are many wines available as well, but we were not in a position to transport good expensive wine.
We've had challenges with this place in the past because their signage says they are open, but they are not...
