Sweet Cups & Corolla Cupcakes — Restaurant in Corolla

Wish I read the reviews first.... Went in with my family to decide if we wanted to get something there (multiple dessert venues in same plaza). We decided to get two cupcakes and some ice cream. When entered the store there were 3 young employees working. Not one said hi or acknowledged us and all 3 had backs turned and in their own conversation, one on their phone. I did my self serve froyo and brought cup to counter to pay and order the cupcakes. It was clear I was at counter to pay with them right in front of me but they stood there for about 3 minutes until I kind of said I’m waiting to order more and pay. I got a rude glance and one shuffled over. Ordered rest of stuff and went outside to eat. Cupcakes ended up being super dry and not that good for the price or wait. Do not recommend. Was excited for some homemade ice cream on vacation. We were traveling with a group and I ordered and paid for myself and granddaughter and then moved off to the game area because it was crowded. When the rest of our group went to pay, the girl at the counter accused them of not paying for part of the group. They told her what they paid for, and then she pointed at me across the room and accused me of not paying; I had paid HER not 5 minutes earlier. I went back to the counter and again she said I didn't pay, I told her what we had and that I'd left a tip. This place was cutely decorated with a variety of cupcakes. However, their sign on the door states they open at 12 and when we walked there among the shops at 12:30 they still weren't open and when we went back at 1:00 they were still setting stuff up for the day. Their prices are a little high, the cupcakes and employees are kind of mediocre but the ice cream is good. All in all maybe give it a try if you're in the shopping area but I wouldn't make it a...
