Deli Delicious #115 - Corona — Restaurant in Corona

Normally I always enjoy my experience whenever I come, but today I had a frustrating experience with the cook. It was frustrating because I ordered a half chicken Caesar salad, but instead of Caesar dressing I wanted ranch simple. Our food was done before the salad and I'm watching the cook putting a salad together and he's adding tomatoes, pickles, avocado,and some other stuff to it so I'm thinking he's making someone else's order, but then he hands it to me and kindly tell him "Sir this is not a chicken Caesar salad" then the cook begins to go back and forth with me telling me it is when I'm standing there reading the menu on what's all in the chicken Caesar salad so then I kindly ask him to come from around the counter to read the menu for himself. After he did he asks,"So would you like me to remake it?" At this point I'm clearly upset, but I kindly say,"Yes. I am a pregnant person and I can only eat certain stuff." Then after he made my salad correctly I asked for a ranch dressing in which he proceeds to hand me a blue cheese; ay that point I was over it I have ranch at home and my family and I left. As we got in the car something just told us to check our sandwiches and sure enough my fiancee 's sandwich was made wrong and when he went to let them know the cook gave him a difficult time as well as. I love this place but I think things could be a little better. Been here 3 times and each time I’ve had mistakes on my orders. 1 time I ordered 2 sandwiches (1 medium and 1 small) and they flipped them. So the small one was made as the medium etc. I also have a problem with the way the menu and pricing is. The classic turkey comes with Swiss cheese and if you ask to swap it with provolone they key in no Swiss and then add provolone but then it charges you $.70 for the different cheese. Almost every other shop I’ve been to will just swap the cheeses. The other problem is if you order the Turkey & Bacon it’s not listed on the register so they make it a classic turkey and add bacon so it adds $.75. I complained to the cashier but she was confused and I said the price is different than what’s listed on the overhead menu. Anyways it’s petty but should be more streamlined. Dutch crunch bread is excellent. The fries are good also. If they can just fix some of the issues with the register and matching the prices then it would be a much more...

I was looking forward to the sandwich but was absolutely disappointed when I got my sandwich. I'm used to getting thicker cuts of deli mean, and what I got was ultra thin slices of pastrami and turkey. It was more like having a salad on a bun. I was looking forward to having a location nearer. Since the closest other one is in Bakersfield so I only get to go there when I travel.

1-20-25 I have called these guys for a week straight, and they don't pick up the phone, and you can't even leave a message. Out of all the Deli Delicious I've gone to. This is by far the worst. Even their corporate can't get them to answer the phone. So after a month of trying to get them to answer or call me bavk, i gave up. I gave them a couple of more chances. But they still disappointed me. I will stop going to this location. It sucks cause when they can make the sandwich correctly, it is actually delicious. They just can't manage to do it right. Don't let this location sour you on the Deli Delicious. They are actually a good company. Try any other location...
