First, the positive: The food is good, and the fact that they offer curbside support is wonderful. I hope they continue to support that after the pandemic is over. Having said all that, I have frequented this place on Foothill Boulevard in Corona, CA several times for curbside service. Although I keep giving them another chance, the curbside service is horrible. It is always several minutes after the app says the order is ready before I receive my food. Therefore the food is always cold. Today I called the restaurant from their parking lot and spoke to someone in their call center who checked with the restaurant inside and they told her that they never got the notice that I was in the parking lot. I checked it several times and the notice looks like it went through to me. I think that is just an excuse that they tell the call center. I really hope this location in Corona can get their act together when it comes to curbside service and getting the customers food out to the car in a timely manner. I would frequent this Restaurant more often if I could rely on expeditious curbside support from them.
UPDATE 9/2024: This restaurant no longer supports curbside service. That would be OK if you could use the app to order food and pick it up through the drive-through. But the staff has made it clear that they prefer you not use the app If you are picking up through drive-through. So, you get no points for orders. Also, their buns get soggy very fast. And they have begun Charging $1.00 For dipping Sauces such as 1000 island dressing. It’s expensive...
Read moreThis was my first time eating at The Habit Burger Grill and noticed this place always had a long line of cars in the drive thru. It's a new construction in the area along with a Starbucks and a few more up and coming businesses. On this day, the line of cars wasn't quite as long as usual, but I went inside instead. Because of covid restrictions, there is no eating allowed inside. It was nice to see a menu marquee that was not overly cluttered with choices--perhaps two steps above the sparsely populated In-n-Out offerings. Besides the hamburger, they have chicken and Ahi Tuna on a choice of breads. There are also salads, onion rings, sweet potato fries and shakes/malts. I ordered the Char Burger and fries. It did take a good while to get the food and I was hoping it would be worth the wait. Well, I have to say that the food was delicious! The fries were hot, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! Not chewy. Just right! Even when it cooled down. And the burger meat was tasty with a bit of a peppery kick and was large enough that I didn't have to search for it in the bun. The chopped grilled onions was a nice addition and I don't know why, but the mayo seemed so creamy. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and I'm hoping that this wasn't a one-off! I'll definitely be coming back and trying some of their...
Read moreThis place has a bunch of Jr high and high school kids, which cause chaos and be too loud and yell. While I do not mind being loud, these kids are very loud about cursing and saying weird stuff while trying to eat. Then they got in my way when you are trying to get condiments or to the register because they keep freeloading off the cups The Habit gives out. As well as bumping into my chair once a while. The kids also take up seats from customers as well, leaving no place to sit, because The Habit let's parents pick up their kids like a pick up zone. Then food took forever when it wasn't busy with one or two people who actually ordered. Im not one to complain about wait times, but it took a while. The place was also dirty, and tables were very crusty with leftover food, which was gross, and I had to use napkins with water to clean it off. Lastly, food was crazy expensive, my friend ordered more than me with a shake, and the meal is totaling up to $40-45 for only 2 people. Honestly, it was a terrible experience. The Habit should enforce not picking up your kids there...
