I was pleasantly disappointed to say the least. The food tastes like someone who has Covid and can’t smell or taste. No salt, no garlic, no lime just tumeric and blandness. As middle eastern it’s so sad to see that restaurant owners think they can just put anything together and expect non middle eastern to just devour it and think the food is authentic. I don’t get it. The babganoush looked like it’s been sitting in the fridge for months. The tabouleh had no citrus or salt, So boring. The shawarma had no flavor and the meat was under cooked and luke warm. The rice was just tumeric and mushy. It’s honestly haram to call this place authentic. This is not a review t bash on the owners but to take pride in how they make their food and bring some freshness to it. The atmosphere looks more sad than a DMV hall. The staff clearly don’t want to be here and you can tell morale is down the drain as it’s expected when you can tell of an absent owner who just wants to sit back and do the bare minimum. It shows. Put some effort and love into the place and you can be one of the best and you can make your...
Read moreSo I would have given this place three stars if we were just comparing food but the service was good so... girl in red sweater, you did good.
I took forever to decide what I wanted to eat. I usually get falafel but sometimes places make it too salty and I can’t eat it. If you like salty food this is a great place to go.
The lamb chops were great and seasoned well however the rice it came with was extremely salty and I couldnt eat it. The other side dishes were amazing and went super well with my lamb chops even though I felt like the lamb chops were kind of small for the price. The TVs are really loud inside of the restaurant and it echoes so if you’re OK with loud noises there is seating inside.
The pistachio baklava was a little disappointing for me because I am used to going to Persian markets and finding baklava doused in honey. This one was a little dry I don’t think I’ll be...
Read moreUpdate: this store decided to post a snarky response to the original post. This shows exactly what type of company we are dealing with. Quite possibly the most unprofessional response I have ever seen on these sites.
Original post: The store sent out a coupon code that states it does not exist although it was sent out on 10/28/2024 and set to expire on 11/3/2024. An order was placed on 10/29/2024 by the method the email explained and was not able to apply the coupon. When speaking to the restaurant staff they refused to assist with the error and do not seem to have any desire to fix the coupon code at this time. Amy restaurant that refused to honor their own email that was sent out (and ordered directly from link in email) deserves to lose business. This is false advertising and I will not be dining at this establishment again due to this...
