Read moreIt was our 1st time visiting this location and at Lazy Dog. The staff was really nice the moment we walked in. Our wait time was somewhere between 15-20mins. Yeah, no, it was more like 10mins. I loved that the lights were dimmed. Everyone around us was talking a bit loud, which was perfect because we're loud as a family when having conversations. We really felt comfortable dining there. Within minutes, our servers took our drink order and put in an appetizer order for us. 5 minutes later, we had our drinks. Let me say that the mule drink I ordered was too notch. They're very generous with their alcohol! Thank you to the bartender! I loved my drink. We placed our order and while we waited the manager came over to our table, greeted us, and gave us a complimentary order of waffle fries/chips given it was our 1st time visit to the Lazy Dog! Within a few minutes, our food was delivered. The hamburgers were very big. Our server did not lie about that! My son enjoyed the Parmesean chicken, and my daughter loved her fettuccine alfredo with shrimp! I ordered the beef pot roast, and the flavors were perfect. I would have performed had my been hot and not just warm, but I really enjoyed my food regardless! We all loved our food! Drinks were refilled as needed by our server. We really loved her! She was a sweetheart! Im really terrible with names otherwise I would have mentioned her name on this review so she gets the credit for giving us top notch customer service! Right before we got our check the manager revisited our table, asked us if we enjoyed our experience eating at Lazy dog then she handed us a card for a free complimentary desert on our next visit! We have received excellent service from servers when we go out to dine, but we have never had a manager come to our table and give us free food! That experience was...
Read moreThe food is excellent at every Lazy Dog. We had a family group of 20 adults on Sunday Aug 10th at 1:00pm. We had 2 servers that were good. The drink service was good. During the ordering process, the servers stressed that after ordering, we should not switch seats. {I understood this because I was a restaurant server for 10 years and a restaurant manager for an additional 19 years. I am so happy that I don't have to deal with the public anymore.} So our food was delivered by many different servers 2 or 3 plates at a time. The servers would call out the plate while walking up and down the Long Table until someone raised their hand and called "MINE" to the server... The plates came out slowly which is fine because we were a big table, on a Sunday, but the restaurant was not that busy and had several open tables. We did have 4 or maybe 5 split checks. I paid the bill for 5 people and added a bison burger to go. My bill was $188... I was extremely disappointed that our food was auctioned off at our table. The 2 servers that took our order had us all numbered: seat 1 through seat 20...yet, instead of the food runners knowing which seat the food that they went to, they auctioneered the food that they had in their hands. Even a Chili's server doesn't commit that crime for large parties. I was embarrassed watch it being done to my $23.++ Bison Burger really ruined the dining experience for my wife and I. 29 years of restaurant work crushed my soul, but auctioneering expensive & delicious food will steal your dignity. I say the manager a couple of time, but I do not remember her stopping by of table of 20 to see how we were doing. Touching tables is important... Touching large parties that ordered cocktail is even more important. Thank you for reading this and have a...
