This was by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. They have the best Menudo in town. However, my last visit there was a disaster. I ordered Menudo and was eating it when I noticed there was food stuck on the bowl. Unfortunately, It was not my food. I called the waitress over and she looked at it and walked off, not even bothering to replace it with a fresh, clean bowl. When I went to pay my bill, I noticed she did not remove it from the bill either. Upon paying my bill I was asked “How was everything?” I explained the situation and told her I would appreciate it if she would remove the Menudo. She called the waitress over and asked if it was true to which the waitress responded, “She ate it all.” I told them both, “No, I did not. I left it there as soon as I noticed the food stuck on the bowl!” The cashier then left to the kitchen and then returned, cheerfully telling me she was only going to charge me half price for the Menudo. Needless to say, I told her I was not going to pay for food that was left because it was served in a dirty bowl. She again told me she would only charge me half price for the Menudo, to which I responded I would leave without paying for anything if she did not remove it from my bill. She relented, and angrily rang up my bill. I am not angry that there was food on my bowl. I expect that to happen, sometimes when restaurants are busy and don’t look to see if the plates they are putting the food in are clean. What bothers me the most is how the waitress and cashier addressed the situation. The waitress lied and the cashier determined to get me to pay half price for the Menudo. In the end, neither of them even offered an apology. By far the WORST customer service. They both need a course on how to handle these kind of situations with care and...
Read morePlease work on your customer service. Especially the manager. We had a "to go order" and they slopped all our food together in one container. Honestly, the food is good but I was highly disappointed. Is this the new way to go? People order food and everything gets thrown into a single box? If you order a #4, somewhere do they get that ready and then throw everyone else's food in there too, fitting all items in one box? I guess they were just too busy as the manager mentioned. He didn't care and basically told me to go ahead and do what I needed to. Also the parking needs attention, there is no where to park at peak restaurant hours, hence the "To Go order". They do well there, the food is priced reasonably so my thoughts are, he (manager) knows they can get away with it because people will continue to come even if you have everything mixed up. By the way I did open the box before I left and saw they put everything in one container so it did not happen on the way home, I did show the cashier. I didn't see how much was really covered till I got home used a fork to fish it out. The first picture circled shows the food mixed and the second shows once we got a fork to serve and separate the potatoes at the bottom (under the beans) and the bacon also dipped in there. Nice,...
Read moreMy husband and I had dinner here on Friday night for my birthday. First of all, the salsa is awesome. It actually has flavor and SPICE, something so many Mexican restaurants are missing. I was happy to find a place that isn’t afraid to put some heat in their salsa. The chips taste homemade, and the flour tortilla chips are especially good. If you like margaritas, definitely try the Jumbo Margarita. They’re roughly $20 each, but very worth it. We ordered 2, but 1 probably would’ve been enough, because they are MUCH stronger than they seem. You’ve been warned lol the food was very good. Everything was well-seasoned and fresh. I had the chicken fajita quesadillas, and an order of grilled shrimp. The quesadillas were great, but the shrimp was phenomenal. If I weren’t already stuffed from everything else, I’d have ordered more. It was a bit pricey, but the serving sizes were generous and delicious, so worth it...
