Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

I paid 28.00 and they forgot to put in jalapeno bomers and extra biscuits after I ask kindly if everything was in my bag and the young man replied yes everything is there. I drove all across town to sit at my dinner table and I called churches 4 times and no answer so maybe next time I'm in the area they could make up the difference for what they forgot. Today 12/27/18 I went back and spoke to the manager about as I ordered. I showed her my phone history on how many times I called them on 12/19/18 and they didn't answer so she said I needed the old transaction to get compensated. As I waited in the drive-thru the employee asked if she gave me my drink I replied no. She gave me my Dr. Pepper and did charge me for my meal. I stopped her and told her you never connected my money for the food I'm buy right now so the table turned on them now. On duty manager Ashley should have believed me as I was honest and paid them without driving off today. Floor was dirty, employees are unprofessional and need guidance through better supervision. Friendly window service. It's kind of a hit or miss for me went there last week and my chicken was dry. I went there today chicken was nice and hot madep to order but the pieces were small they look like pieces from HEB. Mashed potatoes were cold. But jalapeno bombers and fried okra always seem to come out great hot and tasty. Coleslaw is never good it's always sour tasting or smells bad need to make coleslaw fresh. Everything needs to come out hot and fresh. May I add to this review that they have the darn best fried okra! Melt-in-your-mouth fried okra goodness!I would like to add that yesterday's visit October 21st, 2021, was a definite hit! Staff Maxine was vaping right in front of the drive through helping out a customer puffing on her vape so disgusting & unsanitary and unprofessional. 🤢🤮 Then Maxine came tapping on my passenger window saying they don't have white meat/breast so she asking if i wanted spicy cause they had spicy breast ready. Then I get to the window & she tells me we just dropped your spicy breast. I'm like wait what ‼️ You said they were ready. Then she started with her attitude, mocking my concerns.
