My son wanted to take my husband and I out to eat while we were both in town. We travel, and my son and family of 5 meet us to eat a good steak. The only good thing that happened was seeing them. When we arrived at K bob and walked in the door, we met by a greeter. I asked if we could have a large booth and got a really strange look from him. Then we set and waited in the almost empty k bob. Yet we wait. Then, a young kid comes over and takes order. We ordered our drinks and got a table seat for 3 year old. Her drink was apple juice, which was brought in a 20oz or so glass. While we ordered, I looked over she had emptied that glass and wanted more. Not only would she not eat now, but ask for a refill. We never got refills for our self the waiter was so confussed. The problem was the waiter took orders wrong. He brought out chicken strips with sauce on the side that should have been a Buffalo burger. My grandson asked about it and was told to just pour sauce on strips. Or he could take it, and they would do it in kitchen. Then I had a rare New york steak that was med. And I said something to him and they took it back then the waiter saw why my grandsons plate was wrong. He said oh you wanted Buffalo burger? He said yes and had not touched his plate yet. So they took it back. Then the manager came out and took 10% off my grandsons plate. And I asked what about the steak, and he did 10% . I laughed due to we both took food home due to rest being done, baby getting fussy after being there waiting forever. So my grandson ate in the truck between 2 other people all the way back to Cedar Park, no drink. I just put mine in fridge we have 5th wheel traveling USA. So we looked at bill out side and saw Manger was not best person for customer service due to those 10% added up to 5 bucks off together and the waiter got 16% tip added on by them for bad service. And the Manger blamed my son on my steak. He said cook must of gave you her rare steak. It was med. I said rare. Plus I had shrimp and baked potato son did not. My son was upset if you dont pay extra for baked potatoes they don't serve any potato but French fries. Was not worthy of being called steak house. Plus it was run down in side. Will never go to a K Bob's again. BTW bill was at 200.00 bucks and we where going to road house because we know what we get which is good service and great food but decided to try different. Big Mistake, Huge Mistake. We learned the hard way. It's not about the money it's the principle. If you can do it better at home no need to go out is what I tell them. We just wanted a nice meal to eat and visit while eating not fighting over wrong meals. I feel waiter no tip and grandson food free and my steak half off. I managed my first restaurant at age 18 and know...
Read moreMyself and another friend got sick....I had the fried shrimp and fries, which were heavily seasoned....she had a sandwich with onions and peppers.....the other ladies did not get sick....won't be coming back....UPDATE7-13-24...just because you think I am leaving a review you do not like or agree with and saying I'm being false speaks very highly of you....I've had stomach surgery and am very careful of what and where I eat... I took all the breading off my shrimp because I could both taste and smell how heavy the seasoning was....we all commented on how busy the cooks were and could see how crowded the restaurant was... a crowded restaurant always speaks of good food.....since I don't eat before a performance, we were all looking forward to eating at the restaurant....I'm puking up shrimp and fries after we leave....this was food I had just finished eating.....calling a customer a liar because one doesn't like a review does not speak well of anyone in the restaurant business, and in dire need of PR skills....if one "speaks" to a customer leaving a review in such a way, makes the customer wonder how the staff is treated....you can think and say what you want....this was the only food I had all all morning and I was puking all afternoon.....your lack of communication and customer skills are evident.....anyone reading my reviews will see that I'm not a "basher" and I will give an honest review .....they will also see that I did not insult you as you tried to insult me. They will also read that I wrote the other ladies did not get sick, only myself and another friend got sick after we ate... instead of name calling your customers, you should ask what happened....people WILL remember this review....Moreso because of what You wrote and called me.....I go to a lot of restaurants, some I comment on, some I don't.....You Sir, your comments will be...
Read moreThis location has the worst management of any restaurant I’ve ever been to. Went in at 7pm on 1/6/24 and proceeded to order as usual. Let me start by saying that the salad bar is always great, but service and entree’s are usually mediocre. On this particular evening, we ordered like normal and waited for our food. Once the food arrived, I noticed that my daughter’s burger was smothered with onions, which I had clearly asked to leave off. I asked the server politely to take it back to get fixed. The burger gets back to us with half of the onions only wiped off. I tell the server that it’s the same burger and that they had not even removed all the onions. This makes me keep an eye on the window while the waiter tells the cook (who is also the manager). The manager immediately goes berserk and tossed the whole plate with food to the side and starts slamming plates around and yelling at his workers. I ask to see the manager, who at the time I didn’t know was also the cook. One of the waitresses talks to him and he blows her off and never comes to our table. After losing our appetites with his attitude toward the whole building we walk out. I will never go to this place again. The owner needs to get rid of this guy or send him to anger management immediately. It was the most unprofessional worker I’ve seen in my life and him being a manager is absolutely ridiculous. Come here if you want your food cooked with hate. Went down the street to Nolan’s afterward and had a friendly meal, with the manager telling us to have a great night when...
