Long John Silver's | KFC — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

This might be the worst Long John Silver's in the country. I should have known there was going to be a problem when they started out by getting my order wrong. I ordered a fish and more and somehow they heard chicken and more. How you can mix up fish and Chicken? I'm not sure, although the person who took my order appeared to have been impaired, perhaps drunk, I'm not sure. When my food was ready they asked if I would like any tartar sauce or malt vinegar which was cool but I had to ask for napkins, not a huge deal. I chose a seat at a table with a sign that said it had been sanatized for my safety. I guess sanatized doesn't mean clean because the table was sticky. Things didn't get any better with the food. The entire plate was incredibly greasy even for fried food. There was an actual puddle of oil in the bottom of my box. The hush puppies were over cooked or perhaps just stale, they were hard on the outside and tough to bite into. The fish and fries tasted good but again were incredibly greasy. I went through every napkin that I had to ask for just wiping the oil from my hands. The only good thing about the meal was the cole slaw which I did enjoy. I ate most of the meal and ended up regretting it as it sat in my stomach like a box of rocks. It's a shame because I've always been a huge fan of Long John Silver's and was really looking forward to that meal. It may be a while before I get up the courage to try LJS again. One thing is sure, I'll never eat at that...

I went Saturday night and walked inside, two workers kept looking at me but completely ignored me wile some guy (worker) was cussing and throwing stuff around for everyone to hear. I asked one lady if she could help me &she just kept saying huh? while not moving from what she was doing. I left...tried the drive through today & not much better, two people at drive through window, male worker took my card no emotion what so ever, I asked for extra tarter sauce & he said no, I already put some in there, I asked if I could have a couple extra, he rolled his eyes and walked off. The lady that brought my food (no emotion either) came back with my food and gave me some sauce. When I said thank you, she just glared me...sucks when you go to spend your money somewhere and you feel like you are bothering the employees by being there, guess we will have to try another...

It was an hour before they closed and he told us it would be 10 minute because he had to put oil back in and fry our fish, he said you will have to wait but it will be fresh, then when we paid he changed it to 15 minutes, when We got both meals the first meal looked fine the second one looked like they had taken old pieces of fish & chicken that had been fried before and they had refried them they were hard and nasty so I made my husband go back round and I gave them the fish and told them it was hard so they remade it and we had to wait another 10-15 minutes , but they never said sorry or offered anything like most restaurants do for Messing your order up, I felt like it was an inconvenience to them because they had to fix their screw up , WHAT THE HECK HAS HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE ???
