I think it’s funny that exactly a day after I recommended Marco’s to someone because I usually really like them, they let me down. I placed an order tonight for delivery. I noticed that almost immediately the tracker said “on the way!” and I thought that was weird because like other pizza places, the tracker seems to factor in make time and the time it takes for the stuff to move through the oven, but whatever. After an hour I check the tracker to see that it said delivered and I think ummmm what, I’m sitting right here with a view of the gate and I didn’t see anyone come in or hear a knock on the door nor did either dog alert me to the arrival of anything or anyone. So I go outside to check that it wasn’t left outside the gate in the wind or something and don’t find it. I also did not select contactless delivery so there should have been an actual exchange between me and said delivery person. So I call and I am told that the order had “just been picked up” and should arrive shortly. Well another twenty minutes gone and the order still hasn’t arrived, despite the fact that I live four minutes from the store. So I call again and say “well you might as well refund me since obviously I’m not getting my food” and he has the balls to say “okay that’s fine” fine? FINE? No it’s actually not fine, because I am hungry and I’ve just waited an hour and a half for you to let me down. So no, it’s not...
Read moreMy wife and I have been going to this Marco’s off of Airline since we moved to Corpus last summer. We eat their cauliflower dough pizza at least once a week. Recently there have been some struggles and tonight was just a bit over the top. Over the past 3 weeks they have lost our order two separate times and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes for pickup at the store. Tonight we ordered delivery and it hadn’t shown up after 45 minutes so we called and were told it would be there soon and it didn’t arrive for another 30 minutes. Then when the pizza got here, not only was it not hot, but it was not even warm and it had been overcooked in the first place. The driver apologized and said they were short on drivers but are there not pizza warmers for the pizza? How is it okay to deliver pizza that is literally cold and improperly cooked? I then tried to call the location and they asked me to hold and then hung up on me. The only reason I gave it a two star review is because I usually enjoy the pizza. I get being busy and all that, but not having pizza warmers for the delivery, overcooking the pizza, being dishonest about delivery time, and being hung up worked out as an extremely poor experience overall. Read moreI ordered two pizzas and cheese sticks to go, one pizza it was supposed to be the new hot honey we all wanted to try, well when I got home of course the kids started attacking the pizza and I noticed they said it wasn't spicy or sweet or anything so I tried it, and I realized they didn't make the pizza correctly or at the sauce my other pieces that I ordered was perfectly fine. I did call the store to let them know and to see if I can get a discount possibly on the next order because I did really want to try that pizza but of course the kids started going for the pizza so I couldn't take it back and they didn't offer me anything they just said sorry.
