Excellent place to go; the food is delicious, starting with the mozzarella sticks, salad, and pizza. The mozzarella sticks are particularly noteworthy, as they are perfectly golden and crispy on the outside while oozing with melted cheese inside. They are served with a marinara dipping sauce which enhances their flavor, making them the ideal appetizer to enjoy with friends or family. Following the mozzarella sticks, the fresh salad offers a refreshing contrast, featuring a variety of crisp greens complemented by vibrant vegetables and a tangy dressing that balances the richness of the other dishes. The pizza, a highlight of the menu, is crafted with a hand-tossed crust that strikes the perfect equilibrium between chewy and crunchy. Diners can choose from a range of toppings, with options that cater to both traditional tastes and more adventurous palates, such as gourmet cheeses and artisanal meats. Each bite is an experience of bold flavors and textures, making it a must-try item for anyone visiting the restaurant. Overall, this establishment exemplifies what a 5-star restaurant should be, with attentive service, a cozy ambiance, and a menu that celebrates the art of good cuisine. The attention to detail in both preparation and presentation ensures a memorable dining experience that keeps patrons...
Read moreMan, my girl and I popped in Mozzafiato after having driven by it a number of times, as it’s in our neighborhood. Honestly, an excellent game-time decision. Funny enough, we got our food to go, but my girl ate a salad in house, which was all the usual delicious workings of a mixed greens salad, and she tore it up. I had a Modeo while we waited for our food to go. Excellent bar service and attentive/warm staff. I’m horrible with names, but Jerry and another handsome, super cool bald cat were on the money. Got to chop it up a bit with the owner, Mark, who was also warm and friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed how he spoke happily about his aspirations for the place and location in the city. Having gotten the food to go, we had a few errands to run, but upon arriving home, I popped everything in the oven with a hand sprinkle of water/olive oil @ 375 for about 8 minutes. We got the Margherita with prosciutto and an order of wings (buff/lemon pepper blend), and after that period in the oven… everything was FIRST BITE CERTIFIED! Legit off the chain, even after an oven reheat. That being said, we will definitely be back to eat in-house, even if I’m an expert at reheating things. As far as ratings, let’s go: 4/4, 5/5, 10/10 or however things are rated these days lol. Gold medal, all the stickers, all the awards...
Read moreWe walked in and no one acknowledged us. We had to hunt down a staff member to ask if we could seat ourselves or be seated, and the first one we talked to said he didn't know and brushed us off so we waited for another person to finally seat us. Despite looking at the menu online beforehand and mocking up our order online before we came in to make sure we knew exactly what to order. But when I asked for what we wanted, the waiter was extremely rude and literally waved his finger in my face and said no no no you can't order that and walked away. Then it took him ages to come back and get our order once we figured out how to get what we wanted. It was humiliating and really disrespectful. If I can't order something a certain way at the restaurant, why is it available that way through the online order system? At the end of our meal, the waiter watched over us while we paid on the card reader so we felt forced to tip higher than we would have after the service we received.
The food was great and I would order to go in the future, but I definitely wouldn't go back to eat in...
