Outstanding all around. Best fire brick oven pizza with quality ingredients. Food: We have been looking for this style pizza all over Corpus and Portland area. Quality ingredients and very fresh. The wings were cooked perfectly, drinks didn't seem flat, red sauce and ranch is spot on. Pizza itself has many ingredients to choose from and are fresh. It is also oven brick with just enough charred crust to add more flavor. Service: Outstanding, friendly, and quick especially during the lunch rush. Our server was very polite and each assisted each other to ensure quick service. Owner was friendly, helpful, assisting staff, and very interactive with all including customers. Atmosphere: Clean and a good fit for the area. Was very welcoming even with a lot of people dining during lunch rush. Bit of Italy and Corpus mixed together. Overall: Highly recommend this place for those who love fire brick oven and/or quality pizza whether it be dine in or take out. Would love to see one of these open up on the other side of the bridge, but either way it is worth the drive.

It’s a classic pizza joint with red-and-white tablecloths, a fire oven, and an owner who personally greeted our table. We ordered two small vegetarian pizzas—the Margherita and Il Giardino d’Italia. The size was just right for the three of us to share, and for me the Margherita was the standout with its crispy fire-oven crust and fresh sauce. My only note—I’d love to see those cherry tomatoes sliced thinner instead of in halves—but the flavor was still excellent. I made sure to ask lots of questions about what they make in-house, Zeus salad came with a fresh, house-made Italian dressing, and we finished with their house-made Italian cream cake—full of beautiful crunchy nuts and topped with well-made Italian cream icing. I say give this new restaurant grace as they find their flow and settle into a steady customer base. I'll come back again to update my review as they settle in. Highly recommended! Absolutely the best! Local vibe with great atmosphere. Great staff, courteous and professional. We had Fried mozzarella, a large 1/2 La margarita and 1/2 II Giardino D' Italia, a "Build your own" Pesto pizza, a homemade cheese cake and Italian cream cake. The Fried mozzarella squares were crispy and fresh with a marinara sauce, really good. All the pizzas were fantastic and a custom crust cooking is offered. The crust was crispy and chewy and not thick. The La margarita has sweet cherry tomatoes and fresh basil leaves. The II Giardino D' Italia was a veggie pizza and the whole roast garlic was incredible. The "Build your own pizza"... Pesto pizza was perfect, it wasn't too salty. The homemade cheese cake was very refreshing and tasty. The Italian cream cake was moist and nutty without being to sweet.

Excellent place to go; the food is delicious, starting with the mozzarella sticks, salad, and pizza. The mozzarella sticks are particularly noteworthy, as they are perfectly golden and crispy on the outside while oozing with melted cheese inside. They are served with a marinara dipping sauce which enhances their flavor, making them the ideal appetizer to enjoy with friends or family. Following the mozzarella sticks, the fresh salad offers a refreshing contrast, featuring a variety of crisp greens complemented by vibrant vegetables and a tangy dressing that balances the richness of the other dishes. The pizza, a highlight of the menu, is crafted with a hand-tossed crust that strikes the perfect equilibrium between chewy and crunchy. Diners can choose from a range of toppings, with options that cater to both traditional tastes and more adventurous palates, such as gourmet cheeses and artisanal meats. Each bite is an experience of bold flavors and textures, making it a must-try item for anyone visiting the restaurant. Overall, this establishment exemplifies what a 5-star restaurant should be, with attentive service, a cozy ambiance, and a menu that celebrates the art of good cuisine. The attention to detail in both preparation and presentation ensures a memorable dining experience that keeps patrons...

Man, my girl and I popped in Mozzafiato after having driven by it a number of times, as it’s in our neighborhood. Honestly, an excellent game-time decision. Funny enough, we got our food to go, but my girl ate a salad in house, which was all the usual delicious workings of a mixed greens salad, and she tore it up. I had a Modeo while we waited for our food to go. Excellent bar service and attentive/warm staff. I’m horrible with names, but Jerry and another handsome, super cool bald cat were on the money. Got to chop it up a bit with the owner, Mark, who was also warm and friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoyed how he spoke happily about his aspirations for the place and location in the city. Having gotten the food to go, we had a few errands to run, but upon arriving home, I popped everything in the oven with a hand sprinkle of water/olive oil @ 375 for about 8 minutes. We got the Margherita with prosciutto and an order of wings (buff/lemon pepper blend), and after that period in the oven… everything was FIRST BITE CERTIFIED! Legit off the chain, even after an oven reheat. That being said, we will definitely be back to eat in-house, even if I’m an expert at reheating things. As far as ratings, let’s go: 4/4, 5/5, 10/10 or however things are rated these days lol. Gold medal, all the stickers, all the awards...

We walked in and no one acknowledged us. We had to hunt down a staff member to ask if we could seat ourselves or be seated, and the first one we talked to said he didn't know and brushed us off so we waited for another person to finally seat us. Despite looking at the menu online beforehand and mocking up our order online before we came in to make sure we knew exactly what to order. But when I asked for what we wanted, the waiter was extremely rude and literally waved his finger in my face and said no no no you can't order that and walked away. Then it took him ages to come back and get our order once we figured out how to get what we wanted. It was humiliating and really disrespectful. If I can't order something a certain way at the restaurant, why is it available that way through the online order system? At the end of our meal, the waiter watched over us while we paid on the card reader so we felt forced to tip higher than we would have after the service we received.

The food was great and I would order to go in the future, but I definitely wouldn't go back to eat in...
