May 2024 Update: Food is still decent and service is good, prices have gone up a little but the bottled drinks on the shelf had long gone expiry dates. We reported this and they took back the bottled drink we bought immediately but we had to remind them to take it off the bill which they promptly did;
The disturbing thing when we reported the drinks with expiry dates (even 6 or 8 months past expiry date) they were left on the shelf even after our reporting them. Doesn’t give us too much confidence that they maintain high standards for the food and drink they sell.
May 2023: Having spent a lot of time in Thailand and rest of Asia, I get excited when I encounter a place that has authentic food to offer. Nom’s seems to be one such place for authentic Thai food in Texas. We ordered the papaya salad, green curry and pad see ew and they were all very good.
Lot of great options on the menu and food is tasty. The portions were also generous. Decent variety for vegetarians as well. Spoke to the owner Nom when ordering and she was pleasant and friendly, although she had a very hard time with writing down my name😀 but it was all in good humor. Good location and highly recommended for anyone in the Corpus Christi area!

Read moreOrdered a Door Dash, and the spring rolls were edible but bland. The pineapple fried rice with shrimp was pretty good. But the Khao Soi, ordered with beef, was inedible.
First off, they omitted the beef that they charged extra for. Second, it was literally just sticky pasta, topped with dry pasta. Everything else was in a different container, which we figured out pretty quickly that it had to go on that pile of bland substance. After adding the "sauce" it was still almost impossible to eat, as it was all stuck together. The "sauce" was spicy but had absolutely no flavor at all. The entire dish was just inedible. There was nothing creamy about any of it, which was in the description.
We ended up throwing it away and sharing the pineapple stir fry. We both are very much adventurous, constantly trying new things, and never disliked any Thai food that we've tried... but it might as well have been Ramen that they added just enough water to, to make soft but not actually cooked, threw away the flavor packet and replaced with just straight-up cayenne flakes...
Read moreI want to start off by saying we are both from Dallas, and have tried countless Thai restaurants across DFW and the state. Hands down this is one of THE places for Thai food across the state. My boyfriend is Thai, and his family often cooks amazing authentic food, hopefully that’s credible enough lol! Of the both times we have visited here on our vacation, we have had nothing but an excellent experience. The Pad Krapao (Thai Basil) , Pad See Ew, Panang curry, and Thai fried rice are all excellent dishes and made incredibly authentic. My boyfriend also appreciates them making it spicy enough, something we often struggle to find with most places. The Mango sticky rice and Thai tea are amazing and were great compliments to end our meals.
It’s great to see locally owned Thai places like this, and I hope to get to visit...
