Tacos El Tri — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Hands down the worst food I've had in corpus. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, and the El tri burrito. The quesadilla wad incredibly bland. No flavor whatsoever. The tortilla tasted like a cheap, generic store bought type. It was dry and overall bad. The chicken was cooked way too long... was dry and hard and the smallest little pieces... like it was popcorn chicken... the burrito wasn't much better. Flavorless. The rice was hard and crunchy. The pico was all dried up and had zero traces of any sort of lime. Overall the worst dining experience I've had in my 20 years of living in corpus. I was hoping to enjoy a good dinner based on the reviews (1st time eating here), but unfortunately the food fell short. I ordered the quesadilla supreme with asada and a tostada with pastor. I have to say the quesadilla was way over priced for being small with hardly any meat. Both dishes had under seasoned meat. If they just added some more salt and offered lemon, it would be acceptable. I wish they could have made their salsa more flavorful and spicy (I tried all 3 they offer). 1st time eating here. Thought I could really count on taco trucks. They fell short unfortunately. Flavor is lacking on the meat and salsa. I got 10 tacos and a big burrito. Big burrito is fluffed with lettuce and short on meat and flavor. I was the first in line when they opened so the food should have been fresh, but it was all overcooked and underdelivered. Nobody greeted me when I was standing in front of the truck. Had to get their attention while I was standing in front of the window....
