WARNING!
Update 03/14/24: I guess nothing has been done about the manager Rudy and hasn't been addressed either. Looks like this place doesn't care about the customers reviews unless they are good. It's been around three months, other people have addressed their concerns about the same manager repeatedly, no response, and no nothing.
Disrespectful manager. I went about 3 weeks ago to treat my family to dinner. I spend about or over $150 that evening. I had ordered my food along with my sister's and boyfriend's food before waiting in line again to pay for my other sister's family food. My other sister's food got there before us and I was like you know it's fine they do seem busy. Mind you over an hour had already past between me ordering and my sister's food getting there. About 20 mins later I was like hmmm let me check on our order. I asked one of the girls, she was very sweet and said no problem ma'am let me check on it. She came back and said oh looks like your number was mixed up with another person's so I said not a problem again. I just wanted to eat if I could get my food because I was starving. She said yeah well get it right out to you, it'll be about 15 mins. I waited an additional 20 mins and still nothing so I stopped the same girl again and she said yeah let me go check for you again, the girl who left wasn't the same girl that returned. A different girl came back to tell me the same thing that my order got mixed up so I told her the same thing I just want my food. A few minutes later a manager comes back out, which I didn't ask for I just wanted my food. He told me the same thing these two girls had said previously. And I said I understand, but I've been waiting over an hour, soon to be 2 hrs and everybody has gotten their food, but me. And he kept cutting me off between conversation. Then he proceeded with "well what would you like me to do" and I said "I mean a refund would be nice, but..." And then he cut me off again and said in a very rude tone "well the faster you tell me what you want the faster we can get this done." If he would've let me finish I would've said "a refund would be nice, but I just want my food" the same thing I've been telling the girls all night. He then left without letting me respond back and came back minutes later with a refund receipt. I asked if he was the manager and if I could have the store managers number and he came back and threw the card on the table and left . Very very rude, didn't even bother to apologize for their mistake, for the food being extremely late or to ask if there was anything else he could assist us with. He just threw the card and left. As a customer, person and veteran I felt extremely disrespected. This manager RUDY was very RUDE and UNPROFFESSIONAL. I tipped the person picking up my table and left with an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt review often but after tonight, I was pretty inclined to do so. This place looks great and Iāve been to other places that are similar but Brewster did not execute well as those at all. I had to wait in 4 separate lines to have one meal with my two kids. When you walk in, you order first, then seat yourself, so I waited at the register for about 5 minutes before anybody acknowledged me and took my order. I wanted a beer with my wings but I was told I had to order that at the bar. I get my number placard, find a booth for the three of us and then go to the bar to grab a pint. Another 10 minute wait before I could get service there and left the tab open because after how long things were already going, I thought Iād be there for a while. When I get back to the booth, my wings are already there and weāre waiting on one more burger so that was quick, at least. I had one wing before my daughter told me she didnāt have any utensils to eat her mac n cheese with, so I start to look for them. Not at the self serve drink station where it would be logical to have them, so I ask a busser and somebody else in a red Brewster polo shirt told me to go to ANOTHER line to get some. Now, Iām at the 3rd line where they serve sundaes and ice cream and such, behind two ladies and a toddler ordering ice cream, waiting on ice cream, receiving ice cream and then going on their way. Now, Iām at the window and Iām waiting for someone to acknowledge me but a few minutes pass without that happening. No longer a surprise to me by now seeing how things were already going. I made eye contact with 3 different staff members before I had to pretty much yell āUTENSILS, FORKS, SPOONS!ā and then wouldnāt you know it, I was no longer invisible! I was able to get the one damn spoon that should have been delivered with the meal. I can finally get back to my meal after another good 10-15 mins and am now angrily eating my cold wings and stale onion rings. Iām sure they wouldāve been great if I was able to eat them while hot and fresh but I had to wait in 3 lines by this time, totaling about a half an hour and my appetite was gone from frustration. After we finished, I waited in my 4th line to close my tab from the one pint I got at the 2nd line. In summary, consolidate the entire restaurant; this was absolutely ridiculous and it wasnāt even a busy night. Itās a Wednesday, no specials, no sports events, nothing PPV, just a weekday. Very...

Me talking to the kitchen staff: Hi, I told the cashier that I'm highly allergic to dairy and wheat and there's both dairy and wheat on this
Employee: what's dairy?
Me:... like... milk products
Employee: yeah, but like, what's dairy on your plate
Me: ... showing her the plate and we both look down at it and back at each other Well, first off cheese?
Employee: okay?
Me:Ā I do have an allergy card that you can give to the chef to help out?
Employee: our chefs are fine.
Me: .... So I'm quite concerned about my health. I notified the cashier about my allergies
Employee: well, I'm not a chef.. I just work here...
General Manager: what's going on?
Employee: she thinks I don't know what dairy is.
Me: ........ I told the cashier I'm highly allergic and I offered an allergen card to help out
GM: we'll just remake it.
Me: Okay. Just to reiterate, I'm highly allergic to both dairy and wheat. Including butter. And croutons.
GM: okay.
Me: ????
No apologizes. No taking consideration of the severity. Nothing. Just wow.
Afterwards, he was like, "oh we cooked everything separately [noticable pause] just for you" like... thank you?
I had a rough time with the cashier as well... ā Hey I have some major allergies so do you have an allergen menu? "No." ā Can I talk to the manager then? "No." ā What do you recommend then? "I guess a salad" ā Are there any other available options? "Not that I know of" ā ..... Okay, do they use butter for grilled items? "I don't think so" ā .............. Can you get a manager to verify?? "Listen, hon, I get customers with allergies all the time. I know what I'm talking about" ā Okay... I'll get a salad. What comes on it? "Lettuce, onion, and tomatoes" ā Is there any other toppings I can get? "What do you mean? Like avocado?" ā That would be great
The only great person was the Bar Staff Lady who actually cared an iota. She couldn't do much (she said she couldn't leave the counter) but she pointed me in the right direction and gave good detail on...
