Whataburger — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Probably the worst experience I've ever had, this isn't my regular location I go to but I was nearby.

10:25 p.m. last night I paid for the order, they told me to pull up to the front and they will bring it out shortly.

10:40p.m the lead or manager brings out two orders, one for myself and one for the vehicle beside me. Both were wrong, he asks what my order was, I told him, he definitely wasn't confident in his reply but he said he would get it.

11pm, as I sat there for 20 minutes he finally brings out the order for the car next to me, they drive off, I figure I'm next but no he goes back inside for 20 minutes.

This whole time as I'm sitting there four cars have already pulled up and went through the drive-thru got their order and drove off

11:05 I decided just to swing back around the drive-thru to request a refund. I sat there 10 more minutes waiting to get to the window.

11:15pm I finally get back to the window and sure enough it's the manager which told me he would make my order, he's at the drive-thru window at that time and recognizes me and says I'm sorry we made your order but I forgot to bring it out to you.

At this point it wasn't about the order anymore it was just the principal and how that place was managed.

I declined and told him I just want a refund, again this manager is not confident to deal with customers at all. I sat there for 10 more minutes while he's trying to run this credit to give me my refund on my card, I highly doubt I'm going to get it just by his reaction, he tries to offer me the meal for "free", I told him he can keep it no thank you I'm good I'm going to go to a different Whataburger.

Whoever they had running at that night definitely did not have his stuff together, not management material at all.

I ordered my food at 11:02 pm to get breakfast, there was no wait in line but 1 car ahead of me. I waited 10 minutes until someone came out with orders to take out to the car by the time there are 2 more cars behind and the one car ahead of me. The lady who gave the food gave the food to the car ahead of me and the 2 cars behind me. She asked me what I ordered I said #21. She said it’ll be out shortly. It wasn’t until 11:40 pm she came out with more food and it wasn’t even mine it was the person behind me again! So asked asked her where’s my food and she said sorry it’s on the way. I didn’t get my food until 11:45 pm. Never going there again! It’s always wait time there regardless if there are...

Thanks for being the memorable part of my birthday. Asked for a specific number of ketchups for a large order. Person on drive thru ignored me (saying pull to outside lane 3 times) and then gave me attitude when she finally responded to me. Manager was nicer, she heard me out and rectified the situation as the drive thru person continued to confront me inside the store. I had to go inside to ask and apprise the manager in order to receive ketchup that had already been confirmed previously. Manager gave me an apple pie but then we still had to drive back again for a burger that was not included in the order.
