I usually don’t go somewhere for a 3rd time after other mistakes but tonight I have then the benefit of the doubt. My family and I came to dine in for dinner. They had no one inside which had us believe the service would be quick. We ordered and waited about 15-20 minutes which is no big deal. When the food arrived we noticed my wives meal had tomatoes through the wrapper (which she did not want). Upon opening the wrapper I found that they also decided to include a finger covering glove. Disgusted I went to bring it to the mangers attention. When she saw it she took it and walked back to the kitchen. To my surprise her, another manager, and the rest of the staff looked at the burger and laughed. I assume unsanitary practice in their kitchen must be hilarious at this time of night. At this point the manger Antonio came over, still laughing, telling us they would remake it. I told him I just wanted a refund at tire point which he then proceeded to roll his eyes and walked off. When Antonio and the other manager return they proceeded to argue with me that they couldn’t refund me unless they recharged my card and canceled it since they just had a “ New system” put in today? Obviously that made no sense so I persisted to ask just for them to go on another register and refund me. Pretty pathetic service and management. With all the laughter it feels this was intentional. Would never recommend...
Read moreUpdate after 5 years: The service was absolutely horrendous. At 6:19pm order two burgers and nothing else. Family came in and wanted to give it a try. Got our order at 7:00pm with just an "we lost your order" as the reason for the insane delay. Food was luke warm and the bread was crumbling. Cannot understand how this franchises are loved as the service is abysmal and the owners or managers seem non-existent or accountable.
Update: Came back with family for dinner and our order was messed up three times. 1st burger was made incorrectly. 2nd the same burger was again made incorrectly. 3rd mistake which was missed because of the burger not being correctly made, was that we received a small order of onion rings instead of a larger order. The manager gave two coupons for some breakfast items. By the time the burger was final made right the side were cold and everyone else had eatten and we all just wanted to leave. Also, the floors were sticky on one side of the restraunt.
The Whataburger was alright in the beginning but this year service has been terrible. The drink machine needed the drink mixes to be replaced, along with the only viable option being that of lightly sweetened tea. When we informed the counter of the problem nothing was done the entire time we ate their. Staff were also sitting at the tables when the place was busy and all the tables...
Read moreBeyond disappointed! First off, I want to point out that I'm a huge Whataburger fan! and I am pretty easy going.. This is the 3rd time at this location that a simple order has taken 15min or more through the drivethru, so at this point I have to say something.. So today I ordered a Whataburger Jr meal with bacon and cheese, with med fries/drink (probably one of the quickest orders requiring cooking). I placed my order, got to window and paid, then I was told to move forward to a cone to wait. So I waited.. so long, I even talked to 2 separate people while waiting and it still took 25 min to literally get my food, with an apology and apple pie. To me, hitting the 15min mark is beyond an epic screw-up! I think a free apple pie, is good for little mess ups and having to wait a lil to long, but for this a larger gesture should be considered. I have managed a number of retail and food related shops, our customers are always the most important thing!
I do know 1 preventative measure @@ #Whatabuger… no more parking cars from drive-thru, except for those very rare large orders. I hope someone at Whataburger Corporate sees this and looks to new ways to prevent mistakes from happening, and improve overall customer...
