This is the third time in a row that I have been to this particular Carls Jr on 9th street and have been sorry I even stopped there! The first time, we ordered biscuits and gravy and the mile high bacon biscuit, but I asked for them to put it on a regular bun instead of the biscuit....it arrives, ON A BISCUIT....by the time it arrived we had already been waiting for a very long time and so I just ate it as it was. I figured that everyone makes mistakes, so we try there again. There were three of us, with a normal order of burgers and frys for each. We were in the lobby for over 20 minutes before my daughter decided to go cancel the order and get her money back. I mean seriously, it doesn't take 20 minutes in a 5 star restaurant to get your food. So much for "fast food" Today I really want a taco and remember that Carl's Jr has street tacos, so my grand daughter and I head over there as I wasn't really in a hurry.. so I Order 3 street tacos and three beef tacos. I was in the drive through this time, thinking the wait wouldnt be so long....WRONG AGAIN!! 20 minutes later she finally opens the window/doors and hands me my order....a tiny bag and without looking at her I say, "there are six tacos in here?" She looks at me like she didn't quite understand what I was asking her...she says, "um 6 tacos? I thought you said only three with a combo" I was like NO...and if it was only three with a combo why did you charge me 8 dollars for it? She said, "oh, it does say 6 here.. would you like me to redo your entire order for you? I said no, " frankly 20 minutes in this heat was more than I wanted to wait in the first place.. so she just hands me the bag with the three tacos in it and says "sorry we took so long." I drive away irritated for the third visit in a row...you can bet it will be my last.. I know, I should have learned after the first two times...but I have definitely learned my lesson this time! Read moreI always try very hard to be patient and give everyone the benefit of the doubt. The last two times I have got to to this location my interaction has been strange. Last time I had to completely reorder at the last window as they did not have my order anymore. This time (04/25/25) I ordered the same thing I always do. A big carl no cheese this time I ordered a strawberry lemonade. The prder was repeated back to me correctly. I pulled up she started to hand me a plain lemonade I asked if it was just a "pump" if I could please have strawberry. She was nice and made it strawberry for me I thanked her and she gave me my bag of food. Everyone was pleasant and friendly. I get home to Philomath to open the burger and it is ONLY cheese. Pretty frustrating to say the least. I can handle if they just forget to leave the cheese off of the regular burger but to be stuck with the only thing you didn't want was upsetting let alone paying full price for a very plain...
Read moreEDIT: Within 24 hrs of my negative review, Carl's Jr responded with a link to a chat bot to give them the same info I already gave them in the original report, and they still have not actually contacted me. Don't let the speedy review responses fool you. Went on Monday night and got two BYOB. It literally looked and tasted like BK. I've never had such gross food at Carl's. I think they scrape from the bottom of the leftovers to make the BYOB. Within 20 mins I was in the bathroom and I spent all night and the next day running to the toilet and fighting nausea and vomiting as well. My man felt queezy and then woke up early the next morning with stomach cramps and also multiple trips to the toilet. I reached out to customer service and they said they would flag it urgent and forward to the manager. I've heard NOTHING. They're potentially using unsafe food handling over there and then they'll try and sweep you under the rug when you get really...
