I really hate to leave a poor review of a historic theater like this, but I was left very disappointed after their recent showing of "Suspiria."
They literally streamed the film off of Prime, which looks terrible projected on such a big screen. There's already a nice 4K disc of this film, I'm not sure why it wasn't used. There were also these blinking blue lights all around the theater, and I swear that the left and right audio channels were flipped—really took me out of the movie. Lastly, the version they screened was the inferior R-rated cut, which features some distractingly abrupt censoring and cuts.

There's 2 front facing PA speakers blasting incoherent insanity towards you, while the two bookshelf(?) speakers mounted at the back of the room are terribly underpowered.

I had brought a group of teens ( my sons and their friends) to see A Christmas Story, only to be turned away, as the 100 seats were sold out. We improvised, went back to my apartment, crowded in, ordered pizza and rented A Christmas Story on Prime. I do not fault the theater, tho. I have always enjoyed my previous experiences with them.
