They make a very good large mocha at this store. In fact, most of the Starbucks from Corvallis to Newport make a great large mocha.
The NEGATVE for me and others is being asked to give a tip to employees that are not even breaking a sweat to provide the large mocha. We pay $5+ for the large mocha and then we are expected to provide a tip of 20%+.
I see people working harder at the local grocery stores and they are not tipped. This on-demand tipping is getting real old and causing me to make the mochas at home. Lots of us have had tough jobs that are dangerous to do. Someone mixes a coffee to a given formula and we are to...tip?
When do I tip? I was in a local grocery store yesterday and there was a man there dealing with a mentally challenged brother in a most loving way. The frustration was there just the same. When it came time to pay cash for the bill he was short $6.47 so he needed to take out certain items for a $150+ bill. I jumped in and paid the extra.... that is what I call charity and "tipping"...

Drive thru employee seemed annoyed I was there, and while the fruit and cheese snack box wasn’t technically expired (expiration date was same day I ordered it), it wasn’t edible. Box had condensation in it, cheese slices were soggy, grapes were soggy, and the Brie was hard. Those boxes are a bit too expensive to have to toss everything except the crackers. 😬 I’ve gotten these several times from the location near Burgerville and I’ve never had that problem. Hope it...
Read moreThis spot used to be like super chill, then me and my gal the past few times have been treated rudely by the staff. We're very polite people, we are even easy with our drink orders, but we feel like we are pulling teeth and inconveniencing them when we have our order taken. Then, we get our order and it's not what we ordered, just disappointing since it's our neighborhood Starbucks. Specifically there's this curly head dude I wish I knew his name but he just has no desire to work there and for whatever reason has a terrible attitude every time we go. Whatever happened to the cool Baristas back in the day where they would go all out to give you the best experience possible? Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name, and they're always...
