If I could leave zero stars I would however 1 its the lowest option! This is for the Property Manager and a reflection on that only. About two weeks ago my microwave caught on fire while just the timer was on and I had nothing in it-as I don’t use the microwave It was really scary to say the least. I called the office number and the option for emergency was not available, and I couldn’t leave a VM I did however left a VM for the Leasing Office and two weeks later was still not returned I called the office on Tuesday March 25th and told them what happened,Jon set up the work order for 9:00 am on Wednesday to have the microwave replaced. I left my front door open as I had to get ready for work ,about 10:00am there was a note on the door “technician on site to replace microwave “ no one inside and no changes to the burn out microwave, the didn’t replace it. I went downstairs and the Manager and the handyman were walking on the hallway-I should mention she did not call all this time to let me know what’s going on ,when I met her and asked her on the status she said “it can’t be replaced,it needs to be ordered and order needs to get approved “ in a very nonchalant way like its no big deal. So,Service Call placed Tuesday March 25th that day was Wednesday after 10:00 she had all the time in the world to properly communicate that with me and not waste my time. Frankly, hers also and the stuff. Then, she went into that “I’m the only one in the complex that doesn’t have the emergency phone number, that was on the move în e-mail 213 area code. Today ,Friday March 28th I did try to call that number…shocker! also, not working. Not status on the repair and microwave even tho I sent another email on Thursday following up-email sent to Jon. Honestly,I had never experience anything like this…ignorance, lack of urgency or care for a tenant and overall the whole experience felt like a “hate crime”as much as its the first bad review I ever wrote for any company. The contract clearly states that they need to provide a safe ,pleasant environment-this experience wasn’t that Which makes this a breach of contract If you live in this community please make sure to speak up as this is unacceptable! Its also not my first bad experience with her and I do not feel safe . Its gross and disappointing to say the least to such a mean spirited, malicious intent from someone that was...
Read moreI’ve been living at Lux for almost a year, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best housing experiences I’ve had. From the very beginning, the leasing staff made the process smooth and stress-free, answering all of my questions with patience and professionalism. It was immediately clear that this is a community where management genuinely cares about the residents — not just as tenants, but as people.
One of the things I appreciate most is how warm and approachable the entire team is. Whether I’m calling the office with a quick question or stopping by in person, they’re always friendly, respectful, and eager to help. It doesn’t feel transactional here — there’s a real sense that they want to make sure everyone is comfortable, happy, and supported. Pirusha and Jon are genuinely kind and engaging people who care about their residents.
Responsiveness is another area where management really shines. Any time I’ve submitted a maintenance request, it’s been handled quickly — usually within 24 hours, sometimes even the same day. The maintenance team is efficient, respectful of my space, and highly competent. They don’t just put a temporary fix on things; they do it right the first time.
The property itself is also very well-maintained. Common areas are always clean, the landscaping is neat and beautiful year-round, and amenities are regularly serviced. It’s clear that the staff takes pride in keeping everything in top condition. I am always happy to host loved ones over because the place looks so inviting.
What I also love is the overall atmosphere of the community. It’s quiet, safe, and welcoming, with a solid group of tenants who are respectful of each...
Read moreJon gave us one of, if not, the best experience at an apartment tour. We’ve done a bunch of tours throughout the years (LA, SF, NYC - currently living in the bay area) and Jon hands down made me forget any of the past tours I’ve done.
His enthusiasm, excitement, attention to detail, and love for the community really shined through (and rubbed on us, too!). He kept ensuring he addressed any questions and concerns we had, and showed us floor plans he think would best suit our needs given our preferences. Not only that, the community is spectacular - love the decor, the subtle and prominent art pieces throughout, the spacious 2-story gym, accessible pool & jacuzzi area, WFH rooms, and more. The wooden floors throughout the apartment adds a nice touch to the bathroom mirror touch-lights and walk-in closets. Gas stove, huge fridge and washer/dryer, open floor kitchen, slow-close drawers, wow.
Although we are not looking to move immediately, we feel more confident that OC is a great place to return to if it’s for Lux Costa Mesa – who knows, maybe within the next 6 months or sooner! We felt SO welcomed and already like we were part of this little Lux...
