Annoyed. I rarely post comments, but I feel like enough is enough.
I usually drive all the way over to the 2701 S Grand (24 hr) location for the service. I’ve never had a problem with my order and the employees are very friendly.
At the Baker location, the employees act like they couldn’t care less. I consistently order the same thing. Bean and cheese burritos with red sauce and extra cheese. I am very clear when speaking into the speaker because my order has been wrong before. I gave my order to the young girl. Clearly stating what I wanted and she read it back to me, but was having a hard time with the amount to charge. Got to the window and the older lady said the amount was $16.26. I said that is not correct for three bean and cheese burritos with extra cheese, but she insisted that it was. I know what they cost. I paid for the order, then checked my receipt upon returning through the drive thru. I was charged for three BEEF burritos with extra cheese. Upon returning to the window, the young girl was on her phone, directing the older lady to the window. This lady did not understand because she did not take my order. The young girl comes over and argues that I ordered BEEF, not BEAN. You read my order back to me! Then asks if I still want the BEAN? At this point, I didn’t want to feel like my food would be contaminated, so I drove away.
These young people need to put away their phones and pay attention! They’re making $20 an hour now. If you don’t like your job, find something else, but customer service is why...

I went to the del taco on Baker St. In costa mesa, right behind the Albertson's market... right when i pulled up to order, the woman must have been an idiot or just blatantly trying to mess with me. She repeated my order wrong 3 times. She didn't give me my total, i had to ask, and when i did she gave me an attitude. I told her specifically I HAVE ALLERGIES- ONLY CHICKEN AND TORTILLA ON THE CHICKEN TACOS. I HAVE A DAIRY ALLERGY. She acknowledged this finally. I go to the window, i ask the guy to read my order and he does, and even specifies that i was nothing on the chicken tacos.. well guess what I got on my "plain chicken tacos"???? Cheese and that mayo sauce.. are you kidding? I can SUE over this. Your employees acknowledged i had an allergy and gave me food that would cause me to swell up and potentially go to the hospital or worse! Not to mention my food was cold, the 2 beef CRUNCHY tacos were 2 More chicken soft tacos with everything on them. The queso fries with a side of chili was just queso fries.. i mean come on! How do these people want $15 an hour?! A robot could do their job better! This is outrageous. And when i called to complain, NO ONE PICKED UP! What kind of business are you people running ?!
