This is the kind of place we need to protect at all costs. They’ve been serving sandwiches here in Orange County since 1962, so you know they’re doing it right. I was told to come try the hot pastrami, with chopped pickles, make sure you order that. Also, I’m eating the Italian sub that comes with their famous avocado spread. Yes! the pickles are delicious and are a good addition to a sandwich My husband likes this place. We both ordered the turkey sandwich. He liked it but it wasn’t to my taste. The roll was steam fried and the turkey was not very tasty. I’m a Jersey Mikes crispy rolls and normally add mikes way with their house- made dressing and fresh meats. So, I may just not be the target market for this type of sub. The pastrami and pepperoni looked popular. There’s outdoor and indoor seating. It’s a very busy parking lot so park carefully. The staff works very fast and is nice. Hope this helps you choose the right sandwich for your taste.

This sandwich shop is the perfect hole in the wall go to stop. Every time I’m craving a sandwich this is where I go! They have the best pastrami sandwich I have ever had. It’s juicy and all the toppings and mustard on it is amazing. I love to add banana peppers as well! The turkey breast is a great sandwich option too. The classic bread they have is soft and yummy. It’s a must try! You won’t regret it. Pricing is average. About the same as subway, but tastes way better. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! If you like orange bang definitely try it there! It’s awesome.

This place USED to be good. I’m guessing different owners maybe? I paid $12 for a 10 inch sandwich with salami and turkey. Literally got two pieces of lunch meat in both turkey and salami..super packed with lettuce. Last time I came, it was completely different.

Also, waited to order in an empty restaurant while the staff gossiped.

Overall, I spent about $20 for the sad sandwich, a pickle, small macaroni salad, small potato salad and a small drink.

I asked for no ice as it was a 20 minute drive home and she added ice anyways. She did replace the drink when I mentioned I had asked for no ice.

Both the potato and macaroni salad are good though, I will say they were yummy.

Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be back unless they change...

Not what it used to be but is anything? Real problem with Any deli that really only has Mozzarella for selection. The counter help iz short & not overly friendly & english is hard in terms of telling them what you want, they getting most of your description despite they really just do not have the entire list of all the goods to make Whatever You might want to make your order. I do not like going to a deli thst offers so little and yet has pictures and photos and awards from baseball teams pasted and posted it all over the interior and yet unable to make anything you want because they have only one or two of this or one of two of that. Come on! It's the Lil Pickle. I have been going to this deli for many many years. I love the old school sandwich counter and the simplicity of the menu. Yes they make a ton of different sandwiches on French rolls regular bread, They have been serving the area forever. I remember playing Basketball at the college around the corner and some days I could not wait to crack the doors and walk in to my favorite sandwich shop.
