MADE Coffee — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Went to this place with my wife and close friend, and it was a great spot for some good vibes and also some great drinks! We weren't planning on coming here and stumbled on this place as a quick stop, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The inside was very small, and they had a few spots to sit and chill, but I would not recommend it for big groups. However, they had some good music and great little decor around. The shirts they had were pretty sick as well and honestly was tempted to potentially get one even after the first visit. We ended up ordering a Matcha Latte with Ube on top, and at first, it was not quite what I expected. But once it mixed in a bit more and the sweetness of the Ube sunk to the bottom, the flavor was truly amazing. It is not overly sweet, and the matcha was very strong and in every sip. As well as the Ube was the perfect amount of ube and not overbearing the matcha at all. The guys making the drinks were also very kind and had great vibes with them as well. Superb coffee, superb baristas, amazing amazing location and atmosphere!

I’ve been going to made for about 6 or so years now. I used to be a visitor of their Downtown Fullerton location, so I was thrilled to hear they had opened a new location in Costa Mesa! Everything I love about Made Fullerton was evident and present in the CM location, which the only upside was a larger patron area! Woo hoo! Highly recommend this shop if you’re in town (even if you’re out of town too!). The attention to detail in crafting both espresso and brewed drinks is incredibly evident across the board of everyone who works here. Congratulations again on opening...

The person taking my order wasn’t friendly at all, it was my first time here and I asked some questions about the menu. She responded back with monosyllables and forcefully. The guy that was there was a bit more helpful. Also as it turns out, some of their menu items have the word “cloud” in them but it’s not included in the drink unless you mention you want the “cloud” added for an extra charge… The drink was ok but overall I didn’t like the vibe of the place.
