McDonald's — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

This is a top quality mcdonalds you can sit down here and eat a meal and it only cost $9 for breakfast which is actually really good deal and some of my past posts I have bashed McDonald's in Carl's jr. For how much they're charging but really McDonald's has stepped up their game with ingredients for example all the Egg McMuffins have a egg cracked fresh in the restaurant preach one and all their biscuits and bread are always very fresh also it seems like the cheese is maybe a little bit better.

Know if you do listen to the conspiracy theories there definitely is nanotechnology in McDonald's food and some videos even show Nana filaments and a small electronic type things that are microscopic in their nature and these aren't theories this is a 3 trillion dollar industry so somebody's paying that money and putting the stuff in our food.

All you need to do is check the annual awards for chemistry prizes and Nobel laureates Etc in the field of chemistry and you will see that this is not a theory nanotechnology and this industry of putting technology in machines in our food and drinks is a real life actual occurrence that should not be taken lightly and from what I understand McDonald's is one of the guilty parties so this isn't a scathing review about their business practices this is a review of this local McDonald's and the quality of their food.

That being said the quality of the food has been increased enormously over the last few years although the price is almost doubled and other fast-food restaurants have done the same thing without increasing the quality of their food at least McDonald's HAS definitely increased the quality.

If you havent eaten here let me break it down and this is really just about their breakfast only. Now that they caught a lot of flak for the pink gruel that used to make the nuggets and so now that they use REAL Ish less processed ingredients well it's better than a Denny's breakfast pretty much.

not better than everything Denny's offers for example Denny's offers things like steaks that are great and Milkshakes that are better than McDonald's but they don't have any competitor to McDonald's frappe and coffee offerings which are mind-blowing and compete more with Starbucks than Denny's ( I recommend the chocolate chip frappe).

but their eggs and pancakes and bacon are pretty much on par with a sit-down restaurant and that's saying something that that's if you order the mega breakfast or whatever the hell they call their $5 meal

I've come on and off for the last decade and they've always been good.

A lot of people don't realize that with these McDonald's they are all franchised out and whether or not a McDonald's is good or bad has to do with the ownership the management and the actual daily employees at that particular restaurant and how hard they work + the time and effort they put in to your food.

I heard a story about someone recently that worked at McDonald's& hated their job so much that the only thing that kept them sane working there was this one person who would come in and order a grilled cheese sandwich everyday and every day they would try to make the absolute most perfect grilled cheese sandwich they could!!

Some of those people that work at McDonald's are up against hard times and situations but try and cope with that by providing excellent service to the customers and it's important to remember that some locations llike Costamesa have Professionals in the kitchen and this is one of them.

it iz in a very nice part of town there was no homeless people there and there was didn't even need to be a lock on the bathroom door I went in was able to use the restroom without anyone coming in bothering me without even there being a lock on it. It is odd to leave a review for a fast food restaurant. But I naively viewed all franchises to have a similar level of consistency in food and service— Seems like they could get the majority of the orders incorrectly made here. I did a mobile order and waited with three other gentlemen who ordered in person. We heard the staff shouting my mobile order out loud multiple times for 19 mins in the back but the staff never brought out. Ie: "Mobile Order for (insert name)." When a staff member finally came out to put it on the Mobile Order Rack, she seemed so surprised that I was standing in front of it, as if when it was called in the back kitchen, I needed to run behind the counter/ register to grab it or shout, "Present!" like in an elementary classroom experience. I checked the app and it said, "Pickup in store," not at Drive Thru or anything if that's an option. 😵‍💫

The first business man before me waited about 10+ mins to try to get his drink order correctly made. They mistakenly gave him the wrong beverage but there was no beverage machine outside of the kitchen, for him to correct it himself. So then he waited 7 additional mins while a staff member went in the back to change it. It seems like it could be an easy fix to make a new cup with Sprite as the customer ordered but it took longer than necessary. The customer eventually got his correct beverage and the staff left the wrong beverage still on the counter, awkwardly in front of the register while taking meal orders.

As for my order, I wanted to try the Regular Ranch Snack Wrap which should have ranch sauce (white in color with specks of chives or pepper in the sauce as usual ranch dressing). But to my dismay, each wrap had the spicy buffalo sauce, which has a darker yellow/ orange color and distinctive spice to it. No ranch inside the wrap at all. I thought the place could have made a mistake with just one and I just witnessed the soda ordeal, so I did not want to let the staff know because it could take longer for them to resolve than getting the food. Sadly they messed up on all three wraps.

First time there and never again— Incorrect orders, no space inside (three tables and just room to form a line to order), long wait (even for mobile orders, which is different from the app), lack of service and care...

Rude service! I went through the drive thru at 10:23pm and had to interrupt the girl working the drive thru to look in my direction to get her to take my money. Her and her coworker were engaged in chit chat that was more important. I wanted to add to the order and she was still in conversation and would not step up to the window until I said come here so I can tell you something. I asked for an apple pie and she said we are closing, you can't order that, we don't make it. Then the guy she was talking to steps up and says well you can order it but it takes 12 minutes. I was so annoyed at the young ladies disrespectful attitude and demeanor that I said never mind. If you can't acknowledge customers with at least a hello and give them their total then why are you even open at all in my neighborhood?
