Consider this the OC imitation of Omnia Las Vegas!
My boyfriend and I decided to go to their grand opening on a whim, albeit it being a Thursday night because who could turn down Slushii?!
LOCATION * -- IT IS NOT LOCATED WHERE SUTRA USED TO BE! -- It is located on the first floor across from the bowling alley and underneath Yardhouse. They also do not have anything more than a projected image of "Time Nightclub" on the wall to indicate where it is. I had only been able to find it after a security guard noticed we were looking around the second floor to find it...
TICKETS / GUEST LIST * You can easily buy tickets on their website and can also get discounts with promo codes that promoters give you. For their guest list, it's free until 10pm but the club opens at 9pm and some of my friends have experienced terrible wait times where they hold the line every 15 minutes in order to force everyone to buy tickets after guest list closes, so BEWARE!! Come super early if you're serious about free entry.
SETTING / AMBIENCE * First thing I thought upon walking in: Omnia Las Vegas. From the floral, electronic backdrop at the entrance to the central chandelier in the main room, it was basically a copy of the LV club. I will say that the club is MUCH bigger than sutra. By a lot, in fact, and I really appreciate that because there is now more room to walk and dance.
DANCE FLOOR * VERY. PACKED. Please come early if you expect to even enter the dance floor. Otherwise, be prepared to be sandwiched between sweaty bodies on sweaty bodies. (Like I said, think Omnia LV) Pro tip: stay to the sidelines where there is much more room! Extra pro tip: Dj enters and exits from left side of the stage ;)
DRINKS / BAR * I wouldn't readily call these Vegas prices, but I also find a vodka Red Bull at $13 to be a bit expensive. The only reason why I didn't complain was because my bartender served me 3oz. of vodka instead of their 2 oz. pour, and honestly, who can complain about that?! Their Fiji water bottles, for my DDs out there, are only $5 each. You can also get complimentary glasses of water at the same time of purchase if you would like. The bartenders were very sweet. One thing I noticed however is that they didn't have any check presenters, only receipts to hand out. Thought that was a little unprofessional and they should definitely think of purchasing some. Other than that, there are two bars in the club--each on opposite ends of the club.
RESTROOMS * Very clean and stalls a-plenty! I was pleasantly surprised to see a very well lit bathroom with an attached powder room for girls to reapply their makeup and of course, take selfies. There is an iPad on the screen that lets you take short videos of yourself that you can send via email. They also have one outside as well! One thing I thought was pretty neat: they have a separate window for the bar so you can also order inside!
Overall, I would definitely say that this is a much better improvement to the old Sutra. Since they are relatively the same staff, I can't say if it'll be anything like their old counterpart (in a negative way), but with my first impression of the venue I would definitely return for...

----------------------!!!UPDATE!!!-----------------------------
My girlfriend, her friend, and I arrived at the nightclub at around 10:30 pm Friday the 10th of March 2023. At approximately 11:00 pm, my girlfriend's friend started to feel sick. We had only ordered one round of Long Island iced teas, so my girlfriend went to the bathroom to take care of her friend while she threw up for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Around 11:30 pm, I became concerned and was still standing by the bar next to the ladies restroom when a security guard approached me. They led me outside to the parking structure, where I found my girlfriend and her friend sitting alone on the curb with no one watching over them. The security guard had kicked them out without offering any assistance or support. When my girlfriend confronted them, they denied kicking her out and played mind games with her.
During this time, my girlfriend was unable to get back into the club as her phone was left in the bathroom. By the time they tried to let her back in, she had only two minutes to do so. When she expressed her frustration, a security guard tried to physically restrain her. I intervened to protect her, and after some unprofessional exchanges with the security guards, we gave up on retrieving her phone. We later discovered that someone had stolen it during the time she was locked out of the club.
The event was supposed to run from 9:30 pm to 2:00 am, but I was only in the club for an hour and the two girls for a half hour. Due to the unprofessional behavior of the club's staff and security and as a result, my girlfriend had to buy another phone for $300 on a payment plan. We feel that the club does not deserve to exist with such unprofessional and inhumane treatment towards their patrons.
P.S. The club owner responded with the basic phone number to the actual time nightclub where he does not answer the phone directly. I dispatched the email to the email provided. I will keep you posted if he responds or not. This is as of Saturday March 18th 2023. (As of 3/28/23) No response from owner and a unanswered BBB complaint filed. There you have it they are liars and cheats if he responds back to this watch it be with the club number and another fake email from dean or VAN.
And if you notice all the five star reviews, those are all VIP table bottle service reviews. There is no good five star reviews that don't mention that and if they do it looks like they were done by the people who work there.
I noticed since some of the older one star reviews this is not the first time this has happened. We are not the first group of people this has happened to at this club.
P.S I warned you if you see Montel Williams or T Dog from Walking Dead steer clear of them they are fragile in there ego and they are head...
Read moreWell first of all, there it's not a dress code in this place that's a lie ,and most of the people attending to this place are in they late twenties ....people dress like they go to the super market,so be comfident to go with your pihamas if you want ,second the service it's one of the worst a ever I experience .I was yesterday with my girlfriend for the performance of Steve Aioki and the place was busy but not crowded. They have this security guys and they are the most unprofessional people in dealing with custumers ,they have you standing for hours begin a security cord inside the place and wait until you can getting to the dance floor, when the dance floor it's not even crowded ,and of course the people are standing there all night thinking they will be able to getting ,you cannot even stand what ever you want or walk because automatically come one of the security guys with they flash light to blind you and push you to the side and threaten you that if you don't stand begin that cords they will kick you out ,well I when to the security supervisor ,a female lady and I told her a bout the harasment that it's been happening a bout one particular security guy ,and she came to apologize for him and give me a free drink ticket ,well maybe for a twenty year old kid that's enough not for a 40 years old woman, shame on the managger to allow people like that to work for this place ,because to my opinion that's not enough , nor the less this guy come back to Us again from the other side where he was working pushing people around to push us again ,and I told him the I already complain a bout him with he's supervisor and he turn around and left with he's tail between he's legs .So this is what you need to deal in his place with security harassing you for the whole place ,make you stand begin cords with people so close to you the purpously they are touching you ,disgusting !!!....tha's what the security and rules of this place provoque making you stand begin that cords with people so close to you and they don't even think a bout that aspect ,they don't even care . SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!...if you want to see a particular artist your best option it's to attend to in other place where they are performing to enjoy the show and have a good quality service for the money to pay ,or to enjoy the show in Vegas where I know this particulary DJ perform most ,what a difference!!!!... For 94 dollars that we paid to getting the DJ was great ,but the service of this place it's the worst ,they want to make look this place like it's a Vegas night club but for all aspects they fail in dress code starting from there ,service to they clients it's the worst, and poor behavior ( harassment )to they custumers, the ridicules rules and cords they have inside of the place it's just ridicules , I wouldn't recommend this...
