Vibe Costa Mesa — Restaurant in Costa Mesa

Well, you guys asked me to give an honest review and unfortunately this time around I am not happy with my order. The only thing I order from there is their Cobb salad, and this time the order was made incorrectly. I’m not sure if it was the person that took my order or if it was the cooks. I had asked for the Cobb salad with 75% greens with no kale and 25% quinoa and I got the total opposite. They gave me 75% quinoa and 25% greens with kale in it! I do not live in the area so whenever I am in Costa Mesa I always make it a point to stop by and pick up my favorite salad from there and this is not the first time that this has happened. The other time I had ordered the salad they did not even put butternut squash in it and that is my favorite part of the salad. I was so disappointed when I got home to see that there was no butternut squash. They give you one little tiny dressing on the side, which is not even enough so I asked for three or four, and they try to charge me extra for it, which I do not think is fair. I go to Vibe a few times a month because the food is high quality and so delicious. I prefer to eat whole foods and as clean as possible and that’s what Vibe is all about. The fact that they don’t use seed oils is huge!! I avoid dairy, eggs, gluten, corn, soy, canola oil, natural flavors and citric acid and Vibe is the only restaurant in Orange County that I can order from and know I’m not going to eat those foods. (They do offer organic corn tortillas and corn in some items but I don’t order those things.)

The entire staff is very knowledgeable about all the ingredients and is happy to answer questions, which I really appreciate.

The owner, Josh, is very friendly and seems to be at one of the locations every other time I go. He’s very hands on and rings people up, clears tables and asks how the food is, etc.

My current favorite things to order are the carnitas crunch wrap, the miso broccoli wrap, the Mediterranean bowl and the veggie burger in a wrap instead of a bun. (The bun has some corn in it.) My kids love...

If you’re looking for the most Instagrammable vegan food that actually tastes good (yes, it exists), Vibe Organic Kitchen & Juice is your new best friend. After a workout, nothing hits quite like a bowl of veggies, and they’ve perfected the art of veggie indulgence. The cauliflower eggs and mushroom chorizo? Oh. My. God. These bowls are a flavor explosion, and I’m always left feeling satisfied, happy, and like I just did something really good for my body (even if I didn’t). The place is cute, calm, and never too busy—hello, easy parking and zero waiting. I also like to treat myself to a green juice, because why not crank up the healthiness even more? Sure, it’s a bit on the pricier side, but hey, it’s Orange County and we’re paying for that high-end vegan magic! The service? Always solid.
